Pros: -Good deal for the price. -Was shipped super fast.

Cons: -DVD drive was not secured and the screw for it was loose within the case. -Hard drive was a 2010 Hitachi Deskstar... I wasn't expecting anything new but 2010? That's bad IMO, even by refurb standards. -Came with 2x4GB sticks of RAM, one of which was defective. After getting a ton of random Windows errors, I ran some diagnostic apps and it was clear as day.

Overall Review: Some things are too good to be true. Getting a replacement sent through Newegg's RMA process, hoping the next one does better.

Pros: Super cheap compared to the insanely priced Microsoft hard drives. Feels great once it's done!

Cons: No cons for the drive itself; works perfectly! Modding this drive for 360 use was very... educational experience. A few guides omitted small but very important details. I had to kind of piece together some info to get this working right.

Overall Review: one thing to keep in mind: get rid of all the junkon your original 360 drive. demos, themes, map packs; anything you can do without or can download again. throwing around 8gb worth of stuff can get really annoying when you're attempting this a number of times.
