Great Overclocker!

MSI Big Bang-Marshal (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 (B3) & Lucid LT22102 USB 3.0 XL ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
MSI Big Bang-Marshal (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 (B3) & Lucid LT22102 USB 3.0 XL ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: 4 x8 slots with p67 is rare, 4 way crossfire is awesome! Took my 2500k to 5GHz with ease. Nice blue Intel color scheme. Quad crossfirex, x-fi software.

Cons: Lucid hydra 200 chip. Do NOT install the lucid hydra driver. Can't stress that enough. Just let it be an unrecognized device in device manager. Crossfire will not work and you will get blue screens with the driver installed, even if it is disabled.

Overall Review: For the money, you might as well get the sniper3 from gigabyte. This was the hotness at release, but now there are cheaper better options.

SILVERSTONE ST1500 1500W ATX 12V 2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Active PFC Full Modular Power Supply
SILVERSTONE ST1500 1500W ATX 12V 2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Active PFC Full Modular Power Supply

Pros: I wish.

Cons: This company is a joke! This power supply blew up, shorted a rail and fried a motherboard. Silverstone's reply was "take a look at our RMA policy" MSI will not RMA the motherboard because of damage due to electrical failure, Silverstone will not do anything about it, now the issue will be going to court unless they can pull their head out... I'm sure that the U.S. consumer safety product safety commission will be delighted to hear that their products do not have proper safety devices in place to prevent a potential fire.

Overall Review: Silverstone has my contact information, I encourage them to get this issue resolved.

Kingston SSDNow V100 Series 2.5" 64GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SV100S2/64GZ
Kingston SSDNow V100 Series 2.5" 64GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SV100S2/64GZ

Pros: It was cheap

Cons: You get what you pay for. I have 16 of these drives in the field, slowly but surely they are coming back to me unrecognizable, no data recovery possible. There is a firmware upgrade available, but guess what? It erases the whole disk! Kind of hard to explain to a customer that I need to fix something that hasn't broken yet, and Kingston is a major pain to deal with. Their return policy is a joke. I will NEVER be dealing with Kingston again based on this experience with their rude tech support and "sorry, nothing we can do" attitude.

DIAMOND 7970PE53GDD Double Black Diamond Edition Overclocked Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Well, AMD's drivers definitely do not belong in this section. Single monitor? All games, no framerate drops. Crossfire is smoother on GCN than on VLIW4 or 5, oh and bitcoin monster! Each one of these cards can generate about 90 dollars worth of coins a month when overclocked properly!

Cons: Here's what stands out in my mind: I have a standard diamond card clocked at 1200mhz core with just a little bit of overvolting. There's really no reason to buy this expensive version of the SAME card. Honestly buy the cheapest reference cooler design you can, and overclock the snot out of it.

Absolutely Stable.

Crucial M4 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT064M4SSD2

Pros: Great boot drive. To all of you complaining about bloated windows 7 installs and low available space, make sure you turn off hibernation and remove your hiberfil.sys, this will get back up to 16GB depending on RAM. You can also move your temp directories to a mechanical drive if you are still cramped.

Cons: It's grey. I want brushed aluminum but I refuse to pay Sammy's premium for their 8thirty drives.

Overall Review: Price on these is like watching a toy stock.

Pros: Gets right on up to 3.6 on my 780i mobo, gotta give it a little extra juice for stability, but nothing a watercooling system cant handle XD

Cons: runs too cool, now i have to buy a space heater for my feet.

Overall Review: stupid penguin.
