Pros: This laptop is crisp , decent speed . My wife keeps saying this laptop is so nice ,why did they sell this latop so cheap? The screen is fantastic,very vivid display, NO distortion for a wide screen .This duo core 1.66 is really fast .This machine is about four times faster than the c640 we upgraded from . This laptop is not a super gaming machine , but it still is a very respectable work horse . Word ,Excel , Publiser all pop open at a click , plays my wife's games very nicely .I would encourage anybody looking for a very stable machine to look no further .Very smooth running!!!!! BUY IT NOW , YOU WILL NOT BE DISPLEASED.

Cons: Slow ,I have a Patriot Exporter as well. It takes the team supreme 9 seconds to write 117megs vs the Patriot which takes 3 seconds for 117 megs.

Overall Review: Comes with fat32 , windows vista ultimate could not format it to ntfs , had to use acronis partition manager to format it to ntfs . I will not buy a 2nd one...

Pros: About the only thing i like is the taskbar when running multiple tabs in explorer , logon to networks is a little better,Maybe a few seconds faster than vista on startup ,but it is not fast enough to be thrilled about it ,This windows 7 is nothing to write home about or justify an upgrade from vista or xp .

Cons: will not run older games and programs(roxio creator2009), no quick launch ,No windows mail program , aero isn't very good compared to Vista , icons in control panel (expanded) can only be large or small ,I like them a little larger , large is medium small for icons , does not have dream scenes , will not let you install your drivers (components)wants to use windows 7 default drivers , will not run Acronis( unless you upgrade) ,ETC,ETC , I can not be fair and recommend this os to my customers ,The bottom line is , I just do not like windows 7!!

Overall Review: I like Vista Ultimate a whole lot better than windows 7 ultimate , Windows7 is a washed up version of vista , but the baste system is XP upgraded , My system is x58 sli evga , 6 gigs 3 channel memory ,2 gtx 295 in sli , wd 300 gig raptor ,3 liteon dvd/cd rw ,, It does not warrant an upgrade from xp or vista , I am putting Vista back on my computer , if you buy the ultimate of some product , then you would expect it to be loaded with features , as i've stated earlier , Windows 7 is a washed up version of Vista , As my preference for me is I do not like windows 7 at all , very disappointed , a real waste of money , but I Had to buy it and learn it as I am a tech ,Cooler master v8 ,thermaltake armor full tower, 7 assorted wd drives 750gigs or better ,Back to Vista or xp pro , they are better than this highly acclamined Os which is supposed to be so better, If you like a plain os, then go for it, better yet keep your xp installed !!!!I could go on and on, but I've said enough !!!!!!

Pros: Extremely well made , Fast read and write speeds . I had this guy plugged into a dell with the bottom case usb outlets . I forgot I had plugged it in , and I picked up the back of the computer to make sure all cables were attached which bent the head about a 30 degrees . I thought this was it for this drive , but I took my needlenose and worked it back into shape until I could plug it in , Still works like a charm , I then bought another which works great also .

Cons: The guy below said he broke his and then took it apart. I just want to say if you broke it , What the heck were you doing????working on your car ,cross country ski accident, etc? To break this drive would require an extreme event , it just does not fall apart!!!!!

Pros: I have bought three of these for different offices and all have performed as described. Works great in Vista and xp . They are twice as much at best b*y .Great price. For $250 , how can you go wrong?One year warranty !! Scan from scanner to any workstation . It prints as fast or faster than my Samsung laser (ml2551n) It coallates documents and the color is very good. I printed 4*6 photos at about 20-25 seconds a print .My hp6100 would take 5-9 minutes to print photos.The photo quality is outstanding , seems to be better than your local photo shop. Overall Review: I had decided at one time I was through with hp and bought the brother all in one , it lasted a hot two weeks and the print quality was very bland ,it lacked clarity. I went right back to Hp . In reference to previous reviews , You can buy a lemmon anywhere,thats a fact in this world today . I've had bad processors , bad motherboards , bad dvd writers, bad memory, bad etc , but I keep rocking along , may not be the best , but it is alot better than the competion!!!,but overall this printer rocks!!!
