Overall Review: I wanted to upgrade my new Asus X555LA-hi31102j laptop with the i3 processer. The laptop is really pretty entry level so I didn't want to throw a lot of money at it. Although it took a little coaxing and several tries, this ram went in and booted right up. I use the laptop 90% of the time for surfing the web and performance is almost as good now as my desktop. Very pleased overall.

Pros: Bought this to replace my read only DVD drive that was bad. Very simple install even for me, and it works great. Already had Nero 7.0 installed so it was plug and play. This was my first purchase from Newegg and I'm really satisfied with the product, price, and speed of shipping. Thanks.

Pros: Bought 2 of these for my Dell 8400. Although I was a little concerened when I opened the package and saw they were half the height of the modules already installed, they work perfectly. Super upgrade for great low price.
