Pixel Heaven. Gonna get two

Pros: High res/big screen is perfect for multi-tasking in interface heavy software like Adobe CS. No dead/static pixels, all the tweaking controls necessary for graphic design and web development. No hassle setup using DVI. Presets more than sufficient Web text is sharp and readable even when websites are viewed at 75% Easily doubles as a HDTV when viewing Movies and TV. The size is just right when sitting this close. No "letterbox" for most HD video. Much cheaper alternative to 30in which is only different by about 2" in the height (16:10) but has same width and quality. Can instead afford a second at this price with no tax and free shipping from NEWEGG! Gaming is insane!
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: HDMI at 2560x1440 will only work if all the hardware specs match (monitor/cable/video card) may need to get a higher quality cable. For the folks with DisplayPort issues get a DP/DVI cable converter for around $20.
Totally Satisfied

Pros: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT PICTURE (HDMI). My bedroom has the afternoon sunlight coming in from the right side and the drapes are sufficient. I have my laptop hooked to this and I can read the icon labels on my windows desktop from 12ft away. EXCELLENT COLOR ADJUSTMENT. When I got this from newegg I did not have a screen but I couldn't wait to try it out so I decided to give it a test run on my warm peach colored wall. I was able to neutralize the peach to near perfect color quality. I know that this may sound like an exaggeration so I will probably post the video. I eventually decided to go with"screen paint" ($200 including tax and shipping) and to this day I still get WOWED! by the image quality. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED SHORT THROW/ SCREEN SIZE 11ft+(diagonal). This is with a throw distance of about 8ft+. This averages about 1ft diagonal screen for every 10in distance from the screen that you project.
Cons: There are no cons for me. I was not getting this projector for the sound. I have the sound coming threw my laptop which is hooked up with a spare 2.1 speaker/subwoofer combo. The speakers are situated above my bedhead pointing downward about two feet below the ceiling. The sub is central but facing forward to push the bass out into the bedroom. This is good enough to handle my sound needs for the bedroom. With the sub on the wall above our bedhead the vibrations from a deep base can be felt manytimes in the bed which is always cool.
Overall Review: My wife who, wanted to get a "big screen" tv for the bedroom, was not convinced until she saw 12ft of diagonal brilliance. We have a 50in tv in the living room which we have not looked at since. With the laptop projector combo, I can output anything to the bigscreen anywhere in the house I can hang a white sheet. This of course is not going to happen with my wife around. Television is easily done by using a tuner card in the laptop. If you don't have a decent laptop or something that outputs HDMI with a tuner you might consider getting a HTPC
