Awsome drive

Pros: Works with a softmodded xbox. Fast, cheap, reliable.
Cons: absolutely none.
Overall Review: I own several of these drives, several of the SATA version, and a few others of the caviar line. I have never had any problems with any of them. my computer has 4 of these (2 ide, 2 sata) and I have one of these in my xbox as well as one in a friend's xbox. This is the best price point for hard drives, and WD drives are awesome.
Drive failed

Pros: Was a decent drive while it worked.
Cons: Ordered this drive in Feb and the tray stopped opening a few days ago (Sep). I got it for about $xx, so it's not worth my time to RMA. I bought a samsung drive in the mean time (from newegg) and it works well.
Overall Review: Guess in this case I got what I paid for.
works

Pros: Both sticks worked on arrival (tested w/memtest86+)... both work in a machine w/an overclocked quad core.
Cons: price? seems like RAM prices are up quite a bit from a few months ago. Not this RAM nor Newegg's fault.
Overall Review: Had to fiddle with a setting in the BIOS to see more than 3.5G of RAM. Pretty easy overall though.
Desktop accessory, not replacement

Pros: Small, light, "Pretty"
Cons: Windows XP that came with this laptop sucked.
Overall Review: I've owned this computer for about 5 months and was having some performance issues doing normal activities. Recently, I installed Windows 7 and now it behaves more like I'd expect. I think some people don't like this machine because they expect it to be a replacement for their full-sized laptop or desktop and it's not. For sitting on the couch and reading email/remote desktop to another machine/other light computing tasks, this machine is perfect.
not bad
Pros: cheap, relatively bright, seems to move a good amount of air
Cons: only 2 wire, so doesn't report RPMs... that's a minor draw back.
Overall Review: There are fans for a little bit more that report RPMs, but if you're hooking this up to a fan bus or something, it doesn't really matter anyway.
ok

Pros: cheap
Cons: old
Overall Review: I bought this card for hardware opengl support for developing in visual studio 2005. Vast improvement over integrated video, but still shows its age compared to my nicer machine I built last year. If you're looking to play games, I wouldn't recommend this card; but, if you just need something to upgrade from integrated or if you want dual monitor support, go for it.
