Great deal for the money

MSI GeForce GT 640 4GB GDDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card N640-4GD3
MSI GeForce GT 640 4GB GDDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card N640-4GD3

Pros: I decided to try this GPU about a year ago, and I must say, it's a great deal for the money. While it probably won't max out something like Call of Duty Ghost, it most defiantly will give you plenty og graphics power, combined with enough ram and a decent processor. If your looking for a cheep card for a casual and or simulation set-up, this will do just fine. It's easy to install, and is capable of fitting in most cases, regardless of size.

Cons: Don't expect this card to do the impossible for a > $110 GPU. It's noty designed to be used to outmatch the PS4 or the Xbox 1 in and of it's self. If your looking to do that, then you might want to buy something stronger.

Overall Review: This has lasted me through two computers. When my older gaming rig broke on me, I used Ubuntu temporarily and this graphics card worked ok with it.. If your planing to run with an Ubuntu machine, this should get you by, however, I'd strongly recommend getting a graphics card designed to work directly with Ubuntu.

Ok for casuals

LOGISYS Computer PS550ABK 550Watts ATX12V Power Supply With SATA and 20/24 Pin connectors.

Pros: It's great if your running a computer for mainly business, online social activity, or a lower end graphics card to run some of the older games and newer casuals that do not require a higher end graphics card.

Cons: It's not the best when it comes to gaming. While I've never experienced a shut down, I have had concerns that it may be providing my computer with enough power to run, but not enough power to run optimally.

Overall Review: If your buying for a lower end graphics card or for a computer to use for internet and documentation purposes, it's all you need. If your buying for a gaming rig, get something a little stronger.

A good choice

ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB 950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB 950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: A very good motherboard in my opinion. It seems stable, and the Bios is easy to use. Originally bought it to rebuild my Windows 7 Gaming rig, but decided to install Ubuntu instead. Works just fine, truth be told. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because my motherboard has not stood the test of time quite yet, but I'm confident it will.

Cons: It's a motherboard. You have to be careful with it, and you have to make sure your not building or discharging any static charges when handling it. But I can't really fault it for that. The only real con is that I had to install my graphics card up-side down, but it's no biggie. yet. I suspect it's more to do with the particular case I was using than the Motherboard, but regardless.
