Great GPU, works well with my i9 9900k processor and Z390 Aorus Pro motherboard.
Pros: -High performance, you probably won't reach this card's limits without running some really graphically intense modern games. It is easily way better than the R9 290 that I used to have. -Worked with new build on first boot, at least once I put it all the way into the motherboard, lol. -I haven't seen this card go over 40 degrees Celsius, the temperature seems very stable on this and doesn't go up or down much during use. -The fans face down in my build, but that's probably better for circulation overall. The backplate on this part is nice though, and I enjoy seeing it in the center of my windowed case. -The OC edition which I got has a factory over-clock I believe, and runs a little faster.
Cons: -There was supposed to be a driver installation disk in the box which I apparently needed, but there was none. -I can hear a little bit of coil whine when I'm doing something graphically intensive. Probably the noisiest part of my build.
Overall Review: -The disc that didn't come with my unit wasn't necessary it seems, it still worked on first boot, and I installed the drivers online from MSI. I don't know if the disk came with anything -I was a bit surprised at how heavy and thicc this unit was, but I wouldn't really consider that to be a con. - The coil whine can be mitigated by wearing headphones with decent isolation, or by enabling vsync to limit the amount of resources that the card puts towards something. Not all 2080 cards get this, and some are worse than others, but in my case it's not a big deal. I hear it sometimes goes away after a while anyways. -This card goes best with a 1440p or 4k screen. I was using it on my old 1080p screen, but opted to use my 56" 4k screen instead, although my battle-station is a bit unconventional looking right now because of that.
Got what I paid for
Overall Review: I've only used this drive for a short while now, but so far it's been exactly what I expected. The speed isn't amazing by any means, but that's to be expected from an external HDD. And I am definitely more used to using an NVMe SSD anyways. But it works, all I had to do was unbox it and plug it in before I could start using it. The USB cord is pretty short, though that's not too much of an issue for me personally.
Powerful CPU, far greater than any I've had before.
Pros: -Probably the best Intel CPU on the market right now. -Good packaging, comes in a hexagonal prism just to make you feel like you're receiving some sort of powerful enigmatic technology. -Temperatures are very good with my all-in-one Corsair H115i Platinum liquid cooling system and Thermaltake View 31 chassis. I don't think I've seen it go over 40 or 50 degrees Celsius yet at the very most, though I haven't tested it much. Right now smart-fan tells me that all the cores are between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius without doing anything intensive. Not bad at all, especially considering how much people talk about heat with this thing. -It's the i9-9900k.
Cons: None
Overall Review: -You might be OK just using an air-cooler with this one, but I went straight for the Corsair H115i Platinum AIO liquid cooler, and it's almost like they were made for each other. -THIS CPU DOES NOT COME WITH A STOCK COOLER, this is important to know before buying.
Good PSU, powers my RTX 2080 video card and i9 9900k processor fine.
Pros: -Cables are high quality, and it came with more than enough. -Good packaging. -Quiet fan, I never hear it. -Comes with tester. -Mike's Computer Shop shipped this to me very quickly.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I was originally going to go with a different power supply, but decided to spend a bit more money to get this one, and so far it's worked great for me.
Works well after 4.5 years.
Pros: Never had an issue with this.
Cons: None
Decent
Pros: Decent cable management and space, has optical drives. The one working case fan is still going strong after 4.5 years.
Cons: -The top fan on the case started to break down after a while and began making a lot of annoying noise. I'm afraid I had to neutralize it. -The headphone jack on the front of the case wore down after almost 3 years, and since then I've used an Xbox One controller and USB cable to connect headphones to my PC, lol. -I had some issues with putting an R9 290 in with the brackets on the back. Just a minor annoyance.
