Works perfecty
Pros: Windows 10. Samsung 960 EVO 500GB. Lenovo Y900-34ISZ gaming tower. Works perfectly. Fast as expected.
Cons: none
Overall Review: The Samsung 960 EVO 500GB was working perfectly for a few months in the M.2 slot on the mother board. As the prices dropped I picked up a Samsung 960 PRO 512GB & moved it to the motherboard. The Samsung 960 EVO 500GB was moved to the M.2 expansion card on a new StarTech card. That card worked on about 4 out of 5 reboots. So about 20% of the time the drive would come up as raw and be unusable. StarTech support said their card did little so it couldn't be an issue with their card. Offered me nothing more than to suggest I try reseating the card. Instead, I ordered the SYBA card to try it & it's worked perfectly 100% of the time.
Worked about 80% of the time
Pros: StarTech support almost wanted to solve the problem

StarTech support said their card did little so it couldn't be an issue with their card. Offered me nothing more than to suggest I try reseating the card. And the card continued to fail about 1 out of 5 times. So for $16 I bought a SYBA card and it's worked perfect. It may just have been a bad copy of the StarTech card but they did not offer to swap it. My choice was to buy another StarTech card or another brand of card, and since StarTech said their card didn't really do anything but provide the wiring, I tried the cheaper card.

Everything you need - works perfect!
Pros: Everything you need for most internal drives. Worked perfect.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Have a few old desktop computers laying around. I'm able to pull the drives out, fire them up access the data on the old drives. No issues, it just worked like you'd hope
