Best Bang for the buck 8 core processor!

Pros: 1. Over clockable to 3.7GHz makes this almost as fast as 1700X and 1800X for less money! 2. 65 Watt TDP (around 38c idle on water cooling and never over 60c under stress)
Cons: Wish there was a version without the Wraith Spire Cooler for less money as I went the water cooling route right out of the box.
Overall Review: Paired this bad boy up with a ASRock X370 Taichi systemboard, 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000, EVGA GeForce GTX 1070, Phanteks ENTHOO EVOLV case, EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 PSU, EKWB EK Fluid Gaming A240G kit all purchased from Newegg naturally. Recycled some SSDs and a hard drive from my old rig so should have a rig that will last a long time. Also running Win 10 Pro and Mint Linux 18.1 in a dual boot config with no issues at all.
Great card

Pros: Easy to install, like the fact that it only uses one 6 pin power plug and runs very quietly.
Cons: None so far unless you count the fact that this is by far the most expensive video card I have ever purchased though I expect this card should future proof my system well into the future as I am not someone who upgrades their video card very often.
Overall Review: I had not intended to buy one of these cards until next year when I was going to do a complete system rebuild but my GTX 570 card died the other week. Even though my system board only has a PCIE 2.0 graphics card slot it had no issues with recognizing the card and I expect even better performance once I upgrade everything next year. I dual boot Win 7 and Mint Linux 17.3 and after I installed the card and installed the latest Windows video drivers from nVidia's website I rebooted into Linux which would only let me run my 27" monitor at a very low resolution. Back to nVidia's website and found a driver that supports the 1070 and 1080 cards (Thank you nVidia for great Linux driver support!). You will have to exit xSever and install the driver manually from a command prompt but unless you are a Linux newbie the process is pretty straight forward and there are plenty of tutorials in the Linux forums that explain the process.
Laser Printer

Pros: Easy setup- Plug USB cable into printer and Windows 7 computer, double click on printer driver install, choose either USB or wireless (you'll need your pin) connection option and you are done. Works with Mint Linux and supports HP ePrint
Cons: Absolutely none.
Overall Review: I would highly recommend this computer to anyone who needs a basic b/w printer, does not print very often and does not need, color, scanning and duplex printing functionality.
Great MB for the money

Pros: Recognized my CORSAIR Vengeance DDR3 1866 16GB memory kit I installed at the same time with no issues. UEFI makes it easy to change settings and upgrade BIOS AM3+ makes it upgradable (currently using a AMD Phenom II X4 955) USB 3.0
Cons: Had to upgrade the BIOS though to be fair I have yet to buy a MB that had the latest BIOS out of the box.
Overall Review: Great board if you're on a budget as it has most of the latest features without costing an arm and a leg.
Great Upgrade

Pros: Nice upgrade from my still working 64GB Samsung SSD I bought a couple of years ago and was running out of room on. Boots Windows 7 in about 17 seconds.
Cons: None unless you consider the cost per GB vs a traditional hard drive
Overall Review: Hard to beat a Samsung SSDs for price, speed and reliability.
Great Video Card Upgrade

Pros: 1. Factory overclocked to 850Mhz 2. 10 year warranty with registration 3. DX11 compatible 4. HDMI port with adapter cable included 5. Free copy of Futuremark 3DMark11 at time of purchase 6. Crysis looks and plays great at higher settings
Cons: Absolutely none
Overall Review: If you are upgrading your card you will want to uninstall the old video drivers first, then power the computer down and install the new card. After powering on the computer go to EVGA's website and download the current NVidia driver software which was 8.17.12.7533 as of 06/04/2011. Don't bother with the drivers on the CD as they are almost always out of date.
