Another great product from the UK
Pros: Super-light, black powder-coated brushed 6063 T5 alloy. 1 - 3.5” drive bay for your memory card reader. Top 2 - 5.25” drive bay’s have spring load covers that keeps the facade's continuity regardless of what you stick in these bays. Mesh side panel to show-off all your hard work! Highly recommend Hiper’s HPU-5K series PSU, to power this bad boy. 3 - Super quiet 12cm fans (front, top and back) Bottom mounted PSU. Plenty of room for your extra long GeForce-9800’s! Chassis is welded, no rivets! Pre-drilled retaining holes for liquid cooling.
Cons: It's not really a big deal but the motherboard tray is not removable. There is so much room in this chassis that it took 2 minutes to install my Gigabyte X48T-DQ6 with it's huge OCZ Ventdetta2 CPU cooler.
Overall Review: I couldn't be happier with case. Those boys in the UK have really designed a quality product. Actual Case Dimensions: Length:20 ¾" Height: Feet removed: 17 ¾” Height: with adjustable feet at lowest position: 18 3/16” can raise ¼” Width: 8” If you want a well-built quality mid-tower case that you would be proud to show-off to the neighbors, this is the case for you. Ton's of room for even your tallest CPU coolers, longest GPU's! You get the idea. Have fun, and thanks Newegg!
First time CyberPower user, always been an APC guy.
Pros: Bright Color LCD Display Amazing performance results from a full battery of personally conducted lab tests. Love the compact form factor. Solid construction
Cons: None, so far.
Overall Review: APC was always my go to UPS manufacturer, but ever since their acquisition, the products are not what the use to be. So CyberPower has been in this game a long time and thought I'd give them a shot. Very impressed so far, it's only been a week! I'm a EE and got the units in the lab and watched them using all sorts of test gear. I'm able to simulate low and high voltage situation, high and low current draw, etc. All while monitoring the output sinewave and voltage, current draw, output frequency . In the lab they are technically stellar. Handling all sorts of scenarios with very consistent results. I'm impressed. Think I've found my new go to UPS line. Pricey yes, but I'm willing to pay a premium for a product the that provides these kind of lab results. Now let's see if they hold up?
The finest example of a 1080P monitor I have ever worked with.
Pros: - Bright - Sharp - Fast What else could you ask for! 144Hz and crazy bright, it's a marvel to behold!
Cons: Nothing yet, got two of them for the kids gaming rigs! They love them!
Overall Review: I would highly, highly recommend this truly fine piece of kit! I think I have a new go-to monitor manufacturer!
Nice little iMac for a fair price
Pros: Great little refurbished iMac New Egg's great customer service, More on this in the Con's section Perfect for the kids to browse the web and become familiar with another operating system, yes there is something besides Windows.
Cons: The power cord that shipped with the iMac is very popular in South America, specifically Brazil. Didn't do me much good here is Southern California. One call to Newegg's excellent customer support and the next day a US power cord was on my door step. Kudos Newegg!
Overall Review: All and all an excellent buy. Sure you can find this same model a couple bucks cheaper on Craig's List, but then you don't have Newegg standing behind you with all their excellent support and return policy. I slapped in a 250GB SSD and another 2GB or RAM and the little thing just fly's, it wasn't bad with the 5400 RPM drive but these are kids (6 and 8) and everything has to be instantaneous :) .If you need a couple year old iMac for the kids, so you don't stoke out when you find them on your Mac Pro, just buy it! Thanks Newegg!
