Had to RMA but Newegg was Easy to Work With

Pros: Was a fine card if it worked probably but I still don’t understand whats going on the clock rates were all over the place dropping as low as 25mhz. But the puzzling thing is performance seemed fine. I have 2 or 3 videos showing the problem on youtube just search chad hay and radeon 7. I used multiple software and they all showed the drops so the info had to be right just thought it would tank performance but it didn’t. I was getting a 27-28k graphics score on firestrike stock and that seems normal. I did a clean install of the drivers new bios which installed fine made sure card was seated and power plugs were in good. And my psu is pretty good its an evga p2 750 watt so thats not the problem. Im running it with an Asus crosshair 7 hero with a 2700x. I just took it to ups today to send back. Im truly at a loss on this one, i could understand if performance was off but its not but the clocks are dropping so im really confused. Its not my main rig so i can wait for a new one, i thought about taking it apart and putting on thermal paste and making sure the gpu die makes good contact with the cooler but I didn’t want to do that just in case it wasn’t the problem. And my temps were fine it was dropping clocks with edge temp in the low 60s and even 50s and the t-junction no higher than 85c. My gpu was in a coolmaster storm stryker with 6 fans a cold room and plenty of ventilation.
Cons: •Card keeps downclocking no matter what I do in games but not synthetics benchmarks •Loud but that doesn’t bother me much, just uses to my 2080&2080ti strix oc which are really quiet
Overall Review: •Love the build quality of the cooler and the all metal design, I was surprised on how heavy the card was •Pretty close to a 2080 in performance and surpasses it in some games. •Great Workstation and Compute performance •16gb’s of vram is pretty crazy making it more future proof •Newegg has been great making the return painless as possible, i hate sending it back but something was off with the card
cool and quiet until it broke

Pros: Nice design Runs really cool Very quiet Its Asus Starting to pull away from 1080ti with new drivers
Cons: It was great until it started artifacting in games and crashing. I went as far as reinstalling win 10 and all new drivers nothing helped.
Overall Review: this is the first gpu ive had fail on me this sucks
Great Card

Pros: Evga has the best support of any gpu manufacturer in my opinion. Love the looks of the card especially the rgb on the side. Very fast card
Cons: The only complaint i really have is it runs a little hotter than i would like. In stock form 75C-78C in games but just do an undervolt and youll be running low 70s. Its hard to keep a card cool that pulls over 400 watts on its own.
Overall Review: Great card i would recommend it, when your paying this much for a card its nice to know the support is good if you need it.
Great Small, Light and Powerful

Pros: Metal Frame Gsync 10870h 2070S Max P Good Build Quality Liquid Metal from Factory
Cons: Frame does get toasty above keyboard but that’s what you get for something being this small and powerful.
Overall Review: Great laptop plenty of power and gsync smooths everything out.
One of the best 5700xt’s

Pros: Good cooling especially on gddr6 Nice Rgb implementation and backplate also has argb input to sink with motherboard Argb fans (can buy separately) easy to swap Runs 2100mhz with little problem hadn’t tested past 2150mhz which gives me 2100mhz Has overclocked memory Acoustics are great especially compared to my reference 5700xt
Cons: Maybe the price Argb fans not very bright Might sag a little heavy gpu Probably better off buying normal nitro and overclocking
Overall Review: I would recommend this card I think its one of the top 3 5700xt’s plus its nice having the special edition.
So Far it been Great

Pros: Good price Work with amd 2700x and 3900x no problems Rgb works with asus aura software, it synced up with my crosshair vii and viii with ease $65 for 16gb’s 3200mhz ddr4 ram RGB looked pretty good
Cons: Looks like a gundam and Voltron had a kid, it actually looks fine but its very tall so make sure you have clearance It hard to find anything on this ram, could find much about it.
Overall Review: As long as it stay working it gets a recommendation from me. It didn’t go in my main rig but i still paired it with a decent machine. 2700x, crosshair vii hero, strix 2080
