SAPPHIRE Radeon X1800GTO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 VIVO Video Card 100155L
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1800GTO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 VIVO Video Card 100155L

Pros: Great card. I upgraded from a 256mb 6200 LE and I honestly wasn't expecting as much performance as this Sapphire puts out. Currently playing Need for Speed: Carbon with graphics maxed out (full AA, AF) at 1280X1024 with no visible affect on frame rate. It's beautiful.

Cons: Card is long, but should fit in any standard ATX case. Runs hot to the touch.

Overall Review: It's doing fine with my 430w p/s. You might be able to open the 4 extra pixel pipelines with alternate drivers (do some research). Newegg shipped out at 6:00PM the same day even though I placed the order after noon and only a week before Xmas. Thanks Newegg!

Most Critical Review

Lasted 2 weeks

MSI B250 PC MATE LGA 1151 Intel B250 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI B250 PC MATE LGA 1151 Intel B250 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard

Overall Review: The motherboard appeared to be in excellent condition . It was packaged properly for shipping. I used this with a spare i7-7700 I had and built a pretty decent gaming rig with it. It lasted just shy of 2 weeks. It was working great, then no post. IT wouldn't even power on. I tested the processor and power supply in other machines, and it's definitely the motherboard that died. I couldn't find any shorts or anything else that would have caused it. No magic smoke, no burns on the board that I could find. I didn't (couldn't) overclock. It just died.

No complaints

Overall Review: The blacks are black, contrast is good. The native resolution is OK for the monitor size, just barely. If it were any higher it would be difficult to read some of the smaller text. It's not quite big enough to be curved, in my opinion, but as long as you position it at eye-level you won't notice it. I don't really have any way of testing the refresh rate but the games that I have that run over 100 FPS are noticeably better. I have dual monitors, one runs at 60hz, and I can definitely see the difference in frame rates when I move a video from one screen to the other.
