Good system, horrible HP support

Pros: Very good system, bundled with BenQ 24" LCD = Great system. Case in excellent shape. Runs very quiet and low heat production. Specs are pretty good.
Cons: Horrible HP support. After burning backup disks (which you can do only 1x) main hard drive started to fail. Switched drives, reinstalled OS (without crapware) and tried to get replacement drive. Horrible experience. After 3 chat sessions and 2 phone calls trying to get me to send PC back for repair (as they don't carry the drive anymore), finally talked to supervisor who sent out a 400GB drive (he also tried to get me to send it in or have someone come put the drive in). Drive came very quick (although it was refurb as well) and installed, no problems. HD-DVD drive pretty much worthless for me - will switch out for Blu-ray. Restore partition hides all drivers and software under protection. No way to access, without some trying ;).
Overall Review: Burn your back ups immediately. Other things may be to upgrade your RAM to max per OS (32 or 64 bit), upgrade video card, switch to Blu-ray drive. Pretty good system. Would not hesitate to buy refurb, even after support disaster, knowing now to go straight to a supervisor (or just buy a new drive).
Fast and smooth

Pros: Great deal with $xx rebate. Installed quickly without problems. Heat dissipators look kinda cool. System recognized without issue as did Windows. Great RAM.
Cons: Large heat dissipators may be too large in tight fitting case.
Overall Review: Was about $xx with $xx rebate, made it a great deal, especially for 4 GBs of RAM. The heat sinks are a little large, but I had no problem fitting them in an HP m9150f. Won't show all 4 GB, but that's a Windows Vista 32bit issue (some software may allow all 4 GBs to be used). Good deal.
Great looking screen

Pros: Got it free with HP refurb m9150f combo. Great deal. Screen allows 1920x1200 resolution which looks best compared to 1920x1080. Screen is HUGE. HDMI connection works great, but may be an issue for some without HDMI support on their video card. Height and pivot are easy to adjust. No dead pixels.
Cons: No DVI port, only VGA and HDMI. Weak speakers. Tilt adjustment a mild annoyance.
Overall Review: Great screen made excellent with free combo deal. Would definitely purchase if you have HDMI support. Replaced previous 19" LCD (why not, it was free with PC purchase). No previous experience with BenQ, so I think this has been a solid purchase.
