![HP DC5700 [Microsoft Authorized Recertified] Small Form Factor Desktop PC with Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, DVD-CDRW, Windows 10 Home Premium 32-Bit](https://c1.neweggimages.com/ProductImageCompressAll125/83-281-287-11.jpg)
Pros: Very clean, almost mint condition Delivers with Windows 7 new installation - no problems registering Win 7 SP-1 already installed Very good packaging Low cost Fast delivery
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: If you are looking for a good functional light use computer this is a good fit. The Windows Experience Index rating for this system is only 3.3, mostly because of the low end on-board graphics card. For my application as a mother-in-law PC that will be used for email, facebook, youtube, and maybe some light word processing with LibreOffice this is a great fit. I could see this possibly also fitting as a business desktop in some cases, YMMV. I would have liked to up the RAM in this system to 4GB, which is possible, but because of the limitation of the memory slots on the motherboard would have meant pulling out the sticks it shipped with and installing all new RAM. The limit is 4GB, both what the slots support, but also with the 32 bit version of Windows for refurbish units it comes with. As a last note, even though this system comes with SP-1 already installed be aware that it will need a ton of Windows updates. When I first started Windows update, I had it set to do all of the updates at once, but the system ran out of RAM after downloading and froze up without actually doing any updates. I started again and selected in groups of 30-40 updates at a time and the update process went smoothly.
no problems yet

Pros: Small Light Works on both PC & Mac
Cons: none yet
Overall Review: Just what you would expect for an inexpensive external USB drive.
Quality bargan

Pros: Like new clean - opened the case and the internals were pristine, not a spec of dust to be seen even on the power supply fan blades. Fresh unactivated copy of Win7 home professional SP1 (32 bit) installed which activated without a hitch. Very good packaging Includes keyboard and mouse
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Overall Review: Better than I expected for a refurb. May not be the computer for everyone, gamers will want to look elsewhere. But for use as an email, internet and office app machine this is sweet. I added 2GB of 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 to top it up. Remember 32 bit will not recognize the full 4GB, but for less that $30, no harm done. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours updating Windows from the installed SP1 level.
