Most Favorable Review

Very good quality

Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model BLS2K4G4D240FSB
Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model BLS2K4G4D240FSB

Pros: This ram works great on my msi z170a pro board. It shows up automatically at 2400 MHz. It's not too tall so it won't interfere with my CPU cooler which is an arctic freezer 7 pro.

Cons: The heat spreaders don't cover the top of the modules totally which isn't a performance issue it's just that when pushing them down into the memory slots it doesn't feel good to your fingers because of the gap between the spreaders. It's not a big issue at all though and probably good that they make them like that.

Overall Review: I recommend them highly. Crucial/Micron makes very good quality ram.

Most Critical Review

Great, nicely built motherboard but has USB issues

MSI ARSENAL GAMING B360M MORTAR LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel B360 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI ARSENAL GAMING B360M MORTAR LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel B360 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Very nicely built with lots of features for the price. I like the big metal heatsinks which come in handy for a gaming build to keep it cool. Has an internal USB type C header for cases that have a port in the front. Runs rock solid. Great sounding onboard audio. Nice RGB lighting. Diagnostic lights also. Bios layout is nice.

Cons: There is a USB issue with this motherboard. It does not sleep charge cellphones from any of the front ports on my PC case (I haven't tried the rear ports) and also while charging a phone with the computer awake it's very slow at charging. I don't know if it's a bios issue. There's also something where getting a picture from your iPhone to upload to a website. You upload the first picture then attempt to upload a second one and I have to unplug the phone from the PC and plug it back in to see the picture thumbnails in Windows explorer again and that leads to problems with the website then rejecting anymore picture uploads. Something is wrong with the USB system on this motherboard.

Overall Review: I like the motherboard, it looks awesome and I hope with a future bios update it will have better working USB connections. I wish I could've given it 5 eggs but if you need it for work to upload pictures after a job you may have issues. I do when using it with my iPhone.

A Nice Motherboard.

MSI Z170-A PRO LGA 1151 Intel Z170 USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI Z170-A PRO LGA 1151 Intel Z170 USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This motherboard is working great for me so far. I put an i5-6600 in it. I didn't realize I should've bought a 6600k until after paying for the 6600 but it is working great! I also put Ballistix 2400 MHz ram in it and the board automatically detected the ram speed with no adjustment necessary. It's running stable in my rig.

Cons: It seems to be working pretty decently so not many if any real cons just yet. This is a shorter motherboard than a standard ATX but it doesn't seem to be a problem. You should support the side where the 24 pin main power to it connects while plugging in the connector because there are no screws holding it on that side.

Overall Review: I recommend a quality PSU. I put my old 430 watt Seasonic with it and I don't think I'll have any troubles. The power supply is critical for keeping motherboards alive and working well. Make sure the 24 pin power cable is pushed all the way in and that you screw the motherboard down snug in your case. I mailed in the MSI $15 rebate form and will see if they follow through with it without trouble.

Best GTX 960

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 2GB WINDFORCE 2X OC EDITION, GV-N960WF2OC-2GD
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 2GB WINDFORCE 2X OC EDITION, GV-N960WF2OC-2GD

Pros: Well built quiet operation and trouble free performance. This is the best of the GeForce GTX 960 video cards for the price if you get a good deal on it. There's really no need to manually over clock it because it ramps up pretty high automatically. I've been seeing that it jumps to well over 1300 MHz during game play and the graphics in games look awesome. Also the fan design keeps it nice and cool and they're pretty and quiet and only run when over 60 degrees Celsius.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I use mine with a seasonic 430 watt psu and it's a good combination. Also the OC Guru II program is updated on gigabyte's website and supports Windows 10. I've been playing tomb raider 2013 with mine and I've been very happy with how smooth game play is with it. I've also read that this video card is built on the same pcb as the G1 Gamer edition so it has 6+2 phase power.

A Good Choice

PNY GeForce GTX 960 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCGGTX9602XPB-XE-OC
PNY GeForce GTX 960 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCGGTX9602XPB-XE-OC

Pros: Well constructed and built to last. These PNY video cards are pretty nice. They are built to last and look good.

Cons: This particular GTX 960 requires a good 500 watt PSU with 42 amps unlike the other manufacturers GTX 960 video cards that only need 400 watts. Probably because it does ramp up to a high clock speed.

Overall Review: This review is a follow up to one that I went nuts on PNY in because I thought I had a bad video card but it was something else.

Great monitor!

Dell P2214H Black 21.5" IPS Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor, 250 cd/m2 DC 2,000,000:1 (1,000:1),

Dell P2214H Black 21.5" IPS Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor, 250 cd/m2 DC 2,000,000:1 (1,000:1), Height&Pivot& Swivel&Tilt Adjustable, DVI-D/DP/VGA/DP

Pros: It has very good color reproduction, it looks great, and it's just the right size for most people without being too big or too small. Works great playing games. No lag that I've noticed. Lots of connections and free included display port cable.

Cons: Not totally perfect but it has very nice build quality.

Overall Review: I caught it on sale. I didn't buy it from Newegg but wanted to review it here since I do buy things here and also check feedback from other buyers on this site when I'm thinking about buying PC related things. I think this monitor will not disappoint. I'm using the DVI connection for now but want a better video card with display port output to take advantage of the better connection eventually.
