Look No further!!!!
Pros: Accomdata has the best quality enclosures for the money! This 2.5in sata enclosure is not flimsy, but very solid and well put together! None of that made in China/Korea/Hong Kong cr@p. Comes with Y connector USB type, nice smooth metal enclosure and ends are made of solid plastic.
Cons: The screws that hold the plastic caps in place!! Be very careful you don't want to strip them!! I had to use a jeweler's tool kit to remove those tiny phillips screws! They hold the drive well in place, just use extreme caution since no screwdriver included!
Overall Review: Extremely well made, other than the tiny screws, it's a definate buy! Comes with a 3 year warranty as well! Works fine with my 120gb seagate momentus HD. Newegg rocks for shipping this to my door in 1 day flat!
Cons: This cheap piece of hardware that's made in china is the worse card I've owned to date. Once I install the drivers to get the card recognized under XP, it consecutively freezes my machines every 3 seconds, it pauses and it freezes. I don't understand why this wonderful site would sell junk to customers, do yourself a favor, save your money and payup for a quality card like netgear or linksys, hell go with cisco if you can.
Overall Review: Very dissapointing, Belkin has it's reputation tarnished when it comes to NETWORK or Wireless devices, I bought a router from them a while ago and I would have to reset it every other day because it doesn't even transfer. Anything with the name BELKIN, RUN!!!! THEIR STUFF IS JUST BAD!
Very Satisfied Indeed!
Pros: What has been said already about this monitor. 1080 resolution with 120hz rate and 3D vision support ready. Very nice study and great stand! Lots of features for custom resolution, picture quality and profiles!
Cons: Pricey, matte screen and overall colors can be a bit dull, but with proper calibration this is a great gaming monitor.
Overall Review: I preferred this over the ASUS 144hz because Benq specializes in monitors and projectors, so their brand doesn't dilute like Asus (by no means Asus is bad either) and their products and this XL2420 is no exception. Great features for FPS gamers and even black equalizer and response time! This is a solid monitor that I don't regret at all. 144hz is good, but the VQ lacks certain customization features that this one offers and more. Overall, you can't go wrong with this one or Asus, but if you want more bang for your buck, get this and stop crying for the extra 24hz.
***WHAT A BUNCH OF BABIES!!***
Pros: Reliable, works, very fast, enough storage for anything and seagate 5 year warranty.
Cons: No power switch, drive spins down when idle after 10-15 minutes to save power. Freeagent desk offers only USB power and no firewire or esata. The little feet and stand that come with the drive are a bit generic but seem to work.
Overall Review: I own 2 of these drives! YES 2! From 500GB and 1TB and never had a problem. I also own 2 of the Xtreme Version of this model which has firewire port and e-sata, also same capacities for a total of 4 drives. Had them for almost 2 years without issues, also have my xtreme drives daisy chained. People complain that the drive is fragile and it breaks, well thanks for the informative input! It doesn't take a scientist to figure that all hardrives are sensitive with drops/movement or motions, SPECIALLY WHEN IT'S ON! Ever noticed why it's called "FreeAgent DESK"? It's precisely for that environment and not to carry around or have your stupid pets/babies knock over your equipment and ruin it. You deserve to loose all your data if you are dumb and not have at least a copy of your data. If you can't spend money and have copies of "YOUR" precious data, then obviously the data isn't that important if you rely on a single external device. HDs do go bad because of horrible shipping as
Pros: Fast when working, easy to install and configure. No brainer there.
Cons: They are not what they used to be!! Lately Hitachi laptop drives from 250GB to 500GB have been having problems working!! My 250GB 7200 RPM 2.5 SATA I bought from another store died after 1 month, my friend (who I recommended Hitachi) his 500GB 2.5 SATA died close to a year and lost all his work! and just recently fixed a macbook (2007 generation) and guess what I pulled? THAT'S RIGHT HITACHI!!! I AM SICK OF THESE DRIVES!!!! THEY ARE GARBAGE!!!!!
Overall Review: As a systems tech and one who constant replaces hardrives on systems, I used to swear by HITACHI, but they costed me my reputation because I used to recommend these drives!! BUT NO MORE WITH THESE CLOWNS!!!!! Yes, Seagates and Western Digital drives do go bad! But not at HITACHI'S RATE!!!!! You might as well have a heart attack now if you have important data on a HITACHI drive. I suggest anyone that has very important data to stay away from these drives!! NO BUTS!! IF'S OR ANDS!! I wouldn't even touch these if given for free! If you don't believe how bad HITACHI is now, just look at the ratings for other products including external hardrives! That should tell you something other than my experiences.
Good Board But,
Pros: Plenty of USB ports, DDR2 chanel if you can't afford DDR3 or want to save money using your old memory, AM2+ and AM3 quad core CPU support. Lots of overclocking features and settings.
Cons: People may encounter problems with SATA drivers or AHCI, I had my drive set up in native EIDE mode in order to install windows properly, otherwise it would blue screen. Drivers that came for the SATA support may or may not work. So you will loose performance if you go IDE channel.
Overall Review: Bought this from another retailer. This board is ok, I just installed a RADEON HD 5850 (HUGE CARD) and it barely fit, it blocked 3 sata supports, if you plug in a HUGE CARD (DON'T USE THE YELLOW SATA CABLES THAT COME WITH THIS BOARD) It will bump your card and it won't look good, not to mention sit on the SATA controller itself. I had to use different (RED) SATA cables that aren't as wide as the yellow ones that came with the board and now the VIDEO card is flush and sits alot better, but just BARELY!! After, you will only have 2 SATA ports open even if the card blocks the 3. Make sure you get a good power supply above 500W to power the board with a 8 Pin EPS! If you are getting a huge card like XFX GTS 250, ATI 4850 or RADEON 5850 or if you are planning to put a huge PCI-E card over 9 inches long 4inches wide and over 1 inch thick, get a mid-tower or full ATX if you can so you can have enough clearance!! Trust me, you will thank me later! But other than that, great board
