Works great as advertised
Pros: Work as advertised, I get good speeds as expected. It does work with mixed speeds just fine. I have a PC with Jumbo frames and it gets 1000 no problem, and I have an Xbox that gets 100 speeds no problem, so don't trust other reviews that say otherwise. It even has lights to indicate what speed you are connected at (Orange for 100, Green for 1000).
Cons: None really, its kinda wide, but since it has 8 ports, that just how it is, but it is low profile so it doesn't sit too high.
Overall Review: This may the the first time I replaced a Linksys networking product with a Dlink, but I am glad I did. My other Linksys switch died, and I was getting horrible speeds (like 5k/sec download over 12mbit cable connection!) But, once I plugged in this switch, everything worked great again. Little to no setup required, just plug in and go!
1 of 2 DOA
Pros: Good price for 3TB of storage
Cons: 1o f 2 drives I ordered was DOA.
Overall Review: Good price for the amount of storage you get. But like others, I ordered 2 and 1 did not spin up and was DOA. I have to RMA it now and wait for my replacement.
Worked for about a week
Pros: Cheap, can handle 3TB drives, USB 3.0 speeds are decent. Easy to setup, once drives have been formatted first.
Cons: Stopped working after about a week or two. I was using it in RAID 0 for video capture, and it worked well for about a week or two. Then Windows would give me I/O errors and I could not copy to or from the drive anymore. It seems to work for about 15 min, then stops and gives those error messages. I am glad that I didn't delete all my footage before I copied it from other drives.
Overall Review: Not worth it, until they fix their issues. Like others have stated, it will fail after a while and not be recognized and give out a bunch of I/O errors. Shame, since it worked OK for a little while. Guess this one is going to the trash as I find a replacement from another company to try.
Works well on new iPad (3rd)
Pros: Does what it says. Covered the new iPad 3rd generation just fine. Came with a card to smooth it over and a cloth to clean screen before hand. Always nice to have some extra protection.
Cons: None really, I didn't get any major bubbles, but I took my time.
Overall Review: If you take your time and have a clean screen to start with, you shouldn't have any bubble issues. Make sure the screen has no dust or hairs or anything on it before you apply. I was able to push out all the bubbles after I put it on so if you are careful it should work out great for you. The biggest problem with these is you are covering a large area, and just one piece of dust or hair can cause it to bubble, so make sure its 100% clean before you apply it. Also try to do it in a room with little/no dust, smoking pets, etc around and you will be happy.
Small in size, hard to fly
Pros: Small, decent quality, includes extra parts. Looks cool and I like the LED lights on the front.
Cons: Does not fly straight at all. It made of plastic and not metal like some others, so it may not last that long if you crash a few times. But the biggest issue is that it would not fly straight at all! I used the trim feature on the controller to try and compensate for the spinning helicopter, but it would just start to spin the other way around. There was no way to actually control it, and it basically just fly's in a circle. I had to only fly it using the Trim control to get it to go anywhere near a stright line, but it was basically pointless.
Overall Review: Save your money, and get the slightly larger metal versions. I have another Syma made with metal body and it works great and fly's fine, so I was disappointed that this one from the same company was basically useless. I even paid like half the price it is now and I still feel like it was not worth it. Save your money and buy a better model.
Works well, good speeds
Pros: Fast Speeds, includes a connection kit. Had updated firmware (0309) already on it.
Cons: Transfer kit did not work for me. Software was unable to find the drive. So I just installed it internally to format and clone with other software.
Overall Review: The idea of a transfer kit is nice, but it didn't work for me. I followed instructions, but it was a no go, the software never saw the new drive. I ended up using Acronis Home 2012 to clone my original C: drive to the SSD. It did not boot at first, I got some MBR errors, so I used Hirens boot CD and the FixMBR command line tool to fix the MBR and it booted my Windows 7 nicely afterwards. So, minus 1 egg for the problems with the Transfer kit, since it didn't work for me and I could not expect most people to know how to fix a MBR or other errors when cloning. Also, It showed up as SCSI drive at first and I got slow speeds, until I realized I had it plugged into my Sata 3 port and not the Sata 6, so once I changed that on the motherboard, it worked much better and faster.
