Still going strong

Pros: This hard drive is still working after 4 years and 7 months on my first build. The S.M.A.R.T. status is a Pass on all attributes after over 3 thousand 400 hours! Recommend the WD Data Lifeguard utility and Speedfan to monitor Smart attributes. This drive has 2 power connectors, the newer SATA and legacy 4-pin molex. BE CAREFUL! Using both connectors can fry the drive.
Cons: Probably a little dated in terms of performance but it is quiet.
Overall Review: Running on an abit NF7-S2 motherboard. I did not need to jump pins 5-6 to run in sata 150 speed mode with this mobo.

Pros: This memory kit is still working after 4 years and 7 months on my first build. Rated timings are 2.5-3-3-8 at DDR400. Running on an abit NF7-S2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813127185
Cons: I paid 173 for this but that was four and a half years ago. Memory prices have tanked from just a couple years ago yet this product is still relevant and selling unlike most of the parts from this build (only Western Digital HD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822135106 still selling, though it looks like that may be gone soon too).
Overall Review: I've been running this memory below rated speed because of the low fsb athlon 2600 barton core I picked which is 166.2/3 x 11.5 at stock, making my memory run at ddr333. I've only recently resumed a mild 15% overclock which still only puts my memory at ddr383. I could have probably saved quite a bit of money back then if I had gone with ddr333 to begin with but I didn't know at the time. In case you're wondering the rest of my build was a Sapphire Radeon 9800pro 128MB (N82E16814102268), Thermaltake PurePower 420W (N82E16817153006), unusual Zalman CNPS6000-Cu (N82E16835118101), cheap Raidmax case (N82E16811156019), and ten months later Creative SB Audigy 2ZS gamer edition--haven't installed a single game yet, i'll get around to it someday (N82E16829102171) and Samsung 17" lcd (N82E16824001171).
