Very bright, very happy
Pros: Aside from the already stated specs the screen is also nicely framed. The frame looks great but is also nice and small for dual or tri monitor setup. I'm not a gamer so the brighness this screen offers is way over the top for me but I'm sure its great for those who need it. I have it turned down below the standard 'text' mode.
Cons: The menu 'buttons' are actually a little tough to use since they are almost invisible especially with the snow-blinding default brightness setting. On the flip side i like that they are basically hidden on the front panel for looks. They are easy enough to use on the rare occasion it's needed.
Overall Review: Arrived 15hrs after online purchase, they sure are quick at newegg. Very happy with it first month. No problems at all.
Very nice for free with bundle.
Pros: Tripod is very stable and nice so long as you don't have to carry it anywhere. Bag has very nice pocket for camera and ok extra pockets. Straps are heavy duty.
Cons: Tripod is heavy and bulky. Bag is a little awkward to use but I'm pretty happy with it.
Not a quiet keyboard, certainly not silent by any means
Pros: cool lighting
Cons: NOT quiet.
Overall Review: Bought to try and have a silent setup for shared office space. This keyboard is NOT silent. I would not even describe it as quiet.
Simple and great reader
Pros: Simple, small, can read many types of cards.
Cons: No complaints at all.
Overall Review: Feels like a simple small one reader that does it all, though best to verify your memory stick is in the list for this reader before buying. I've found it to be great.
Excellent prime lens.
Pros: Fast prime lens, general focal length good for lots of shooting scenarios. Superb image quality.
Cons: Really can't go wrong having this lens especially on full frame camera.
Overall Review: For beginners remember this is a prime lens so there is no zoom available. Have to move your feet to frame your shots. The upside to prime lens is that the image quality can't be beat.
Terrific entry level full frame DSLR
Pros: Full frame (FX). 24MP. Quiet, fast, responsive. Least expensive full frame. Comparable to Canon D6. Nikon 610 is generally a better camera and most of the extra's for Canon D6 can be added on as accessories to Nikon 610 (GPS, wireless). Lots of fun. Has a flash (Canon 6D does not).
Cons: Little big and heavy coming from an old/small Canon EOS350. Does not come with fancy extra's like GPS or wireless phone app control. Only 1/4000 max shutter speed might be slightly too slow for fast action shots.
Overall Review: Love it so far. Amazing with 50mm Nikor 1.4G lens. Can't wait to try it with 105mm macro lens.
