Worth Every Penny

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GV-N560OC-1GI
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GV-N560OC-1GI

Pros: This thing is a beast. It runs everything I throw at it without so much as breaking a sweat. Civ 5 maxed out? Pft, please. Fallout: New Vegas on Ultra settings? No problem. Crysis Warhead on full Enthusiast settings with 4X AA? Is that all you got? Definitely the best value for the money right now, in my opinion. It'll run pretty much anything you can throw at it right now.

Cons: None yet.

Cheap Components Wear/Break Constantly

GTRACING Gaming Chair Racing Office Computer Game Chair Ergonomic Backrest and Seat Height Adjustment with Pillows Recliner Swivel Rocker Headrest and Lumbar Tilt E-Sports Chair (Black/Red)
GTRACING Gaming Chair Racing Office Computer Game Chair Ergonomic Backrest and Seat Height Adjustment with Pillows Recliner Swivel Rocker Headrest and Lumbar Tilt E-Sports Chair (Black/Red)

Pros: - Low cost in comparison to similar chairs from other companies. - Chair is easy to build and serves its purpose

Cons: - You get what you pay for. The components are cheap and prone to failure and/or wear & tear

Overall Review: I've owned this chair for about a year and a half. I can't really recommend it to others. The chair frankly lives up to its cost in comparison to similar "racer" style chairs. Everything about this chair is cheap, flimsy, and wears out in no time. In less than a year I had to replace two parts - the hydraulic lift started to fail after about 8 months (just to be clear, I'm not an overly large person, I'm around 210lbs so it's not that.) Around the same time, the plastic "coating" on one of the arms also cracked and split in half, it was so jagged I actually cut my arm rubbing against it once (not badly or anything but worth mentioning, again the point is everything about this chair is cheap.) To the manufacturer's credit the chair was still under warranty and they honored that. It was easy to contact them and I received replacements for both items. It has now been around 8 months since then and guess what? The hydraulic lift is starting to fail again. Now it's no longer under warranty , of course so if I want to replace it I'll have to pay. In addition, now the plastic on the other arm has begun to crack just like before. I haven't even gotten into the seat itself which has been cracking and peeling for a couple months. That's cheap fake leather so I fully expected it wouldn't last long. At the end of the day, you can get a regular office chair for far cheaper and it will last way longer. If you really must have a racer-style chair then save your money a little longer and buy one that'll last more than 8 months. If you buy this one you're likely to be looking for another new chair a year from now.

2 Years Down The Road... Trouble...

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GV-N560OC-1GI
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GV-N560OC-1GI

Pros: 2 years old and it'll still run just about anything on max settings without much trouble. It's starting to show it's age a bit in really high end recent releases but still an incredibly powerful card two years down the road.

Cons: I can't complain too much since I've had the card for two years and it operated pretty flawlessly in that time. Unfortunately, it looks like I may need to move on soon. In recent weeks, the fans have become incredibly loud drowning out every other component in my PC and even forcing me to turn my speakers way up in an attempt to block out the outrageous noise. The loud, irritating hum of the fans is an absolute constant at this point. The card does not need to be under any strain at all. Even with nothing but the Windows 7 desktop loaded with no PC activity at all the fans are going full-bore and running ridiculously loud. From what I've read it appears this was somewhat of a common issue with these cards. It's both a blessing and a curse, I went two years with no such issue but now that the card is well out of any type of warranty the issue has appeared and there is not much I can do besides suck it up and buy a new video card. The sound is unbearable. I've contemplated pulling the card out and just running with the integrated graphics until I can afford a new one. It's that bad.

Can't Be Beat At This Price

Cyber Acoustics Platinum Series CA-3618 12 Watts RMS 2.1 High Performance Speaker System
Cyber Acoustics Platinum Series CA-3618 12 Watts RMS 2.1 High Performance Speaker System

Pros: For $30, you really can not complain about this set. It is not going to blow you away or anything but for this price you shouldn't expect it to. If you're just looking for a cheap set of speakers to get the job done or hold you over until you have the money to invest in something better then you really can't go wrong.

Cons: None.

Great Board - Looks Amazing

Foxconn Inferno Katana LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
Foxconn Inferno Katana LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: First off, let me start by saying that this is by far, without question the sexiest looking motherboard I have ever seen. I put it in a CoolerMaster Storm Scout case and it looks incredible. The red & black coloring looks great in the case and all the lights and LEDs on the board really look phenominal through the side panel window at night. Everyone that has seen my computer had the same look of astonishment at how good everything looks. Functionally, what is there to say? It booted up first try and I have zero complaints so far. Obviously time will tell but I am extremely satisfied so far.

Cons: Nothing yet.

Overall Review: I also got a CoolerMaster V8 aftermarket cooler which, in conjunction with the Knight Rider-style LED lights on this board makes my computer look like you could strap a set of tires to it and drive it down the street.
