Great, but is LOUD!!!

SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950XT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100186L
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950XT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100186L

Pros: This is an eccelent card, Lots of power. I can play Counter Strike Source in 3200x1200 res with 6xAA with HDR in de_dust at 30FPS, which is great for such a high res. and HDR+6xAA Newegg.com sent this card fast, and look at the price!

Cons: It's amazingly LOUD, Sortof sounds like a vaccume cleaner when all else is quiet. This only happens when the fan is above 60%, but it should really ALWAYS be over 60%. When I got this GPU it stuck at 27% fan speed and never went higher, even when it hit 70c, i suggest installing ATI TRAY tools and making it stick to 100% fan speed while in FS3D, setting it to 100% during idle just kills the lifetime of the fan though, so dont do that.

Overall Review: It took awhile to fix mine so that it would clock correctly, (mine was stuck at 500core 500mem even in FS3D) I was able to fix it and reclock it using ATItray tools. Now it runs great, if you set the fan to run at 100% while a game is on, it won't overheat, I get about 63c after an hour of gaming at 650/1800 clocks.

Most Critical Review

It broke my nforce 680i motherboard..

Rosewill RCX-Z775-LX 92mm Ball CPU Cooler
Rosewill RCX-Z775-LX 92mm Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: I bought it to flow air directly outside the case, and not down on the cpu like the stock intel cooler, and it appears like it would do that well.

Cons: It required so much force that not only did I think my thumb was going to break, but by the time the the second push pin on it clicked in place, my motherboard cracked.. ( R.I.P. XFX 680i 12/07 to 5/08 ) I followed all the instructions as well, and had my case on it's side, after my mobo broke I now see that the cooler's feet aren't even level with one another which was most likely the cause of why it required so much force.

Overall Review: I only had enough money left over to buy a cheap replacement nforce 610i motherboard.. I now know a lesson to never again buy a push pin cpu cooler..

Looks fantastic!

ASUS VH222H-P Black 21.5" 5ms HDMI Widescreen Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000 :1 Built in Speakers
ASUS VH222H-P Black 21.5" 5ms HDMI Widescreen Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000 :1 Built in Speakers

Pros: Picture quality is fantastic, alot better than my 47" HDTV, and all of my other monitors. Doesn't have any ghosting, or input lag what so ever. HDMI is definitely a huge plus for me. Aside from the picture quality and inputs, the actual monitor it's self is extremely glossy, and looks amazing. All around the bezel and the entire base is like a black mirror. As with all of my ASUS monitors, there were zero dead pixels on this one.

Cons: uhhhm.. none? I can't actually find anything about this monitor I didn't like. Though I haven't used the speakers yet, and never intend to.

Overall Review: It looks great on my glass desk, alot better than the other 22" ASUS I have that's more matte.

Great game, one of the best FPS's in years!

Far Cry 2 PC Game
Far Cry 2 PC Game

Pros: Huge expansive world. Huge arsenal of weapons. Great visuals, good performance on my machine. One of the longest FPS games I've ever played. Play how you want, whether that be go in guns blazing, tons of explosions, tactical or long range picking off with mortars and snipers. This is a truely great FPS game!

Cons: Install limit DRM. Some minor & major bugs with DX10 at this time. A patch will most likely follow, but until then, if you have issues with the game, run it in DX9 mode.

Overall Review: If you have trouble with this game being stuck in windowed mode, press alt+enter while in game, and it will force fullscreen. The DRM isn't THAT much of a problem, you just have to remember to uninstall the game before reinstalling windows, or making major changes to your system and you won't ever have problems with it. Runs great all ultra high, shadows on high, 1920x1080, 3GHz Q6600, 4GB ram, 2 HD4850's in crossfire, P5Q pro mobo.

Bought two for Xfire, and love em!

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100245L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100245L

Pros: Single card runs alot better than the 8800GT that I was upgrading from. HL2 ep2, crysis warhead, Stalker clear sky, and much much more run alot better. Xfire with these things is great! my system with two of these in Xfire runs everything except crysis in full 1920x1080 with 8xAA maxed out always over 60fps. Crysis warhead gets about 40-70fps avg in 1920x1080, all enthusiest settings with no AA in Xfire mode.

Cons: The cards are alot cooler than ones with the stock HS&F but there is still a problem. They have a single slot bracket on the back of the card, yet take dual slots. I personally see this to be pointless since they could have made it have a vent on the back to aid in removing the hot air, especially when these are in Xfire, and have much less space for the air to go. Don't buy based on rebates. When I purchased I had no intentions of dealing with the rebate, and you shouldn't either. It's a great buy, just don't count the rebate when making a buy decision.

Overall Review: They run great, I'm happy with them. My quick system spec. P5Q pro, Q6600 @3ghz, 4gb ocz pc4600, Ultra Xfinity 600w psu, dual HD 4850's, Xclio twin turbine full tower, win XP pro x64.

Works perfect

Tuniq TX-2 Cooling Thermal Compound
Tuniq TX-2 Cooling Thermal Compound

Pros: stock Q6600 without any thermal grease got 65c under load. Now that this stuff arrived I've got my Q6600 at 3.2GHz and it tops out at 48c under full load for several minutes on air cooling. The tube comes with enough for at LEAST 4 to 6 uses.

Cons: Shipping is insanely high for this item, though the price for shipping is pretty much standard for all things here.

Overall Review: My system gets 48c under full load with a P5Q PRO, Q6600 @ 3.2GHz, and a Silent square EVO + Tuniq TX-2 thermal compound. If you expense the entire tube on one CPU than you're doing something very wrong!
