Great Memory. Good Price.
Pros: Great price. Memory specs matched an OZC 6Gig kit I bought for my machine last year. Got 12 Gigs now running tri-channel on a GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R. Certainly more than I need but had a gift card that I just found from Christmas last year and thought, "what the hec."
Cons: Even though it's XMP I still had to manually adjust the speed and voltage to get both kits to run stable at rated timings. Not too big of a deal and my setup isn't on the approved memory support list so I'm not taking an egg away.
Lasted almost three years for me!
Pros: Solid construction. Easy to install. Kept temps within safe limits during gaming. Fan noise is nonexistent in a push pull configuration for normal operations. Dual 5770's make more noise.
Cons: Temps spiked to 90 deg. C while transcoding video. Heard a grinding noise coming from the pump. Noise went away when the video transcoding was completed.
Overall Review: Bought for a build in a i7 (930) build almost three years ago. Has been working strong for most of that time. Just now is it starting to make weird noises but temps are still stable. Gearing up for a i7 (3770) build using an H100i due to the quality of this product.
