Pros: EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND STABILITY! - THERE ARE MORE FEATURE PACKED MICRO BOARDS IN AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS, BUT IF IT'S FEATURES FOR SURE DO SUFFICE FOR YOUR NEED, I PREFER T-SERIES OVER OTHERS WITH THE SOLID STABILITY + ABILITY TO CLICK IN A V6 TO BIG V12 AUTOMATED OVER CLOCK FOR QUICK EASY AND SAFE MFG OVER CLOCK. FOR A SOLID SAFE BUILD FOR A CUSTOMER A GOOD KNOWN QUALITY AND T-SERIES PERFORMANCE, OC STABILITY FEATURES, AND SOLID CAPS IS GREAT.. jc
Cons: Limited rear panel connections but not a con if the current connections do for your purpose.
VERY NICE ROUTER +
Pros: 4 PORT GIGABIT SWITCH, N/G STANDARDS, SMARTBEAM.. SIGNAL STRENGHT/BEAMING TO QUADRANTS - TECHNOLOGY FROM $1000 CARRIER LEVEL DEVICES - NO MOVING PARTS BUT INSTEAD QUADRANTS USED TO BEAM SIGNAL TO CONNECTED CLIENTS. Miore features still a good value overall.
Cons: None for me rating 5 eggs..
<<< BEWARE OF IDIOTS..>>>
Pros: Beware of iditots who rate electronics poorly based on other needs that have nothing to do with the product they are rating.. Morons, the rating is supposed to be on items such as: 1. Quality delivered, 2. It does what it says it does, 3. Overall Feature/Performance/Quality vs. price combination.. I've bult 10 with this one, clicking in a nice V6 Engine bumbp, and let them run smooth and cool continously in several busy Drs. offices, and have no worries.
Cons: There are no cons with this board. It has a high level of quality and reliability. If the Specs and Design of it work for you, then it's a smart board due to conisistent quality and some nice BIOS features.
Pros: A relatively easy fix after the pain of the build not working and related research.. I woke up thinking it was SETUP+this Board, and got started on the CD. LOOKS LIKE THE MIA78S8209 in my case DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH XPPRO NOT BEING AT SP2 LEVEL.. PCI.SYS error upon Start of Setup So my overdue WXPVOL_EN with SP2 slipped ISO was just burnt, on the new build under the Server OS – Then booted and installing XP just fine for the first time.. MY BRIEF REVIEW: XFX MIA78S8209 with Phenom 9550 Agena 2.2GHz - FROM THE START LOOKING CLOSELY AT IT ALL SEEMS TO BE MUCH ABOUT GREAT QUALITY AS YOU WOULD EXPECT THEM TO ATTEMPT.. - SEEMS VERY STABLE, MY SERVER CD THAT WORKED PERFECTLY WAS A CRISP INSTALL AND ALL THE WORK ON THE MACHINE WITH NERO, ON THE WEB, CREATING ISO, EXTRACTING, RAN VERY WELL LIKE IT SHOULD - HAVE ALREADY SET THE AUTO OC JUMPER ON THE BOARD, FOR THE IN BIOS SETTING TO 3RD & HIGHEST PRE-SET, & BACK DOWN TO A SMALL BUT NICE BOOST AT LEVEL OF AUTOL FOR THIS CUST
Cons: - YOU HAVE TO REGISTER TO GET TO DOWNLOADS/SUPPORT - A DECENT LOOKING TICKET SYSTEM, NO REPLY IN 20HRS YET BUT WILL SEE. Actually it looks like the Tickets are not even there, supposed to have current status. ONLY DOWNLOAD IS BIOS + SATA RAID AND COOLING GUIDES - I see NVidia Utilites on the disk - 8 Pin Connector on MB would prefer newer PSU with 8 Pin to go with it for Quad Phenom, my 4Pin is working well so far, and will use a 4p to 8p adapter with it.
Overall Review: - Looks like a Solid Board and good OCer so will see TR's results for that - Very glad they're in it and providing the push for higher quality MicroATX/AM2+/Quad boards with solid caps, and this one ESata Plus HDMI, so it really beats the TFORCE I had been purchasing a few of as well.. TA780G M2+ HP - Better HeatSink on the pipe, more solid caps - I'm sure better BIOSTAR Support at the moment, but out of the Gate with a clear view of the competition, XFX is likely years ahead in comparison - they look to be ahead now in hardware, design and layout. - Drivers disk worked fine - the graphical setup was sharply designed and effective. - I've installed Server 2003 and used the machine heavy for hours, also installed XPPro Sp2 both using InWin IW-BT611T.300SL 4Pin Power plugged into the boards 8 Pin Connector and runs stable. I may use the 4p to 8p adapter I have in case it may be better. I like it so far and may be switching to XFX for MicroATX which is really all I build.
Pros: THE LADIES LIKE THEM! - 4 SO FAR AND LOOK TO BE HIGH QUALITY CONTROL FOR MFG PROCESS. SHALLOW BUT SMOOTH AND CLEAN KEY CLICKS HAD ME TYPING QUICKER AND CLEANER THAN NORMAL ON MY DAILY KEYBOARD WITHIN 20 SECONDS OR SO OF ACCLIMATION.. GOOD SMALL FOOTPRINT VERY NICE AS WELL AND THE INITIAL REASON FOR PURCHASE.. jc
Cons: None, different but all users love them so far..
