Overall Review: I thought that this was a pretty good blender because it was fast, powerful, and seemed a lot better than the cheap blenders that I had in the past, without having to spend Vitamix/Blendtec dollars, but at a little over a year and a half old with maybe 25 total uses on it, it abruptly burned up. I wasn't blending anything crazy or pushing it hard, I turned it on for a few seconds and it made a strong burning electronics stench and cut off. Since the smell kept getting worse and I could hear a faint high pitched noise coming from the base I unplugged it rather than waiting to see if it would recover, and since I'm past the one-year warranty I'm just going to chuck it in the trash and go disappointedly buy a different brand. I recommend you do the same.
