wow--just wow--did i say wow?
Pros: I got these as speakers for my PC; paired with a 10" Polk front firing sub and my Loord these things sound better than anything i have heard. i was almost bought the Klipsch 2.1 speaker system to use as computer speakers and then i saw these on youtube. I did some research and pulled the plug, i was hesitant spending $$$ for computer speakers but i said to myself; i use the desktop more than anything else so why not. Glad i spent little extra and went with these. They are clear, you can hear almost all the instruments clearly. Almost must to be paired to a good sub woofer; i have the sub at about 30% and it does that job. Highly recommended
Cons: none
Do not buy- 2nd one failed in 8 months
Pros: great when it worked
Cons: I bought this as a back up- this is the second Toshiba drive failed on me. The USB drive was not recognized anymore by any computers at home i have about 6. They are fairly new i7s to i5s.
been couple of weeks temp for i76700k around low 30s
Pros: works, no issues keeps the i7 temp low, its not overclocked though.
Cons: The evga app flow application looks tiny on the 4k display i wish there was a way to adjust that.
Overall Review: i have always liked evga the make good products, but i am also a huge fan of corsair, this was my first water cooler and i wasn't sure what is the fuss about. I replaced an intel fan and saw a drop of 5 to 8 C.
Impressed; great case
Pros: i was on the edge between this or the Corsair 780t; even considered a Inwin 707. I was looking for full tower cases that has a cover around the power supply to hide all the wires. The 780T was 20$ more but i just coundnt get over the fact of the size of that thing, its just bigger without any real benfit and kind of looks weird too. I went with this case because it has the simplistic look to it. Sort of looks like a fractual design case. The case it self is pretty roomy i am running a evga dual cooler and a gtx980. have 3 ssds and 1 4tb hard drive all fit perfectly/tool-less. its fully metal and feels solid. i recommend this case
Cons: fans are little noisy but you can control them with the 1 of 3 settings on top
One whole side Dead, only one side works- so 5 useless outlets
Pros: none really
Cons: 5 outlets didnt work right outside the box
Overall Review: not recommended
Dead after 1.5 months or 5 movies
Pros: good price- i bought a bunch of polk speakers /floor standing center etc. Tthey all sound good, this was loud- i mean really loud, i had the bass about 35%. this served as a 2nd sub add to my bedroom setup. i think
Cons: Died in a month and half and i guess i watched about 5 movies, its making static sound or no sound. I researched and seems like its problem with polk subs with their boards dying. I called in Polk and they are sending me another board free- which i thought was pretty awesome.
Overall Review: its a ok sub- i wished i had bought Klipsch or maybe JL or a better one. The sound is LOUD but not deep- its hard to explain- my other onkyo sub which a 10' and half of its size sounds deeper better. Maybe this needs to be broken in. 5 Stars for polk customer service though-
