Decent Board
Pros: It's a fairly well built design. It supports the new 45nm processors.
Cons: none really
Overall Review: Didn't like the bios options for setting my ram, until I learned Ctrl+F1 on the main screen of bios opens more options up! Running my 1066 timings at 5 5 5 18 now!
First time Disapointment from Mushkin
Pros: It's ram, it worked for a while.
Cons: By day two of new pc build 6 gigs out of 12 had failure and causes crashes / lockups. Trial and Error showed 3 sticks wouldn't even boot/post. It's been less than two weeks now and a 4th stick has fail. Bad luck or just a bad batch I don't know.
Overall Review: I've never had a problem with Mushkin. This is the 4th or 5th time I've used their ram. I think I'm going to try a different brand this build.
Great performance
Pros: Despite what the advertised boost speed is, out of the box it is boosting to 1830 on my machine when I monitor it with MSI Afterburner. I mean, it stays at 1830 100% when gaming, but in the log it shows at times it has boosted to 1905. Temps haven't been over 71c.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: It's 500$.. PC gaming isn't cheap, but it sure beats playing console!
3-way SLI for under 400$
Pros: These cards really perform. Win7 rates 7.8 I test out on some intense games soon. Currently it max's out everything I have.
Cons: One of the cards makes a whining noise some of the time. I have a case with dual 250mm fans aimed at the HD bays / 3 video cards. They run cool. Simply annoying. Second complaint (not completely directed at the cards) was that these cards have two alignment tabs on the back metal plate. The way they fit into a case is by taking up the slot they're in and the one below it. For the 3rd SLI slot that means the space below (off the board) from it. There is no alignment slot in my particular case there. I had to take metal sheers and cut the video card's aligment tab off in order to make it work! Considering it was a 80$ antec case I don't want to say it's a "cheap case" or "cheap brand" but one of these two groups needs to get on the same page here.
Pros: It's quiet and it works. If you're on a budget, but dislike the stock fan...buy this.
Cons: I spent 42$+ on a blue orb that ran 10c hotter and required me to relocate my PSU just to fit the huge 140mm size piece of junk. ---con is I didn't buy this sooner!!!@---
