You want them
Pros: They work, they're easy.
Overall Review: You may be under the same misguided impression I once was that you don't need to waste $5 on thumb screws - after all you have a screwdriver and it's not hard to pull out case screws - right? It' worth your $5 to not have to get a screwdriver every time for the next 5-10 years you own that computer, trust me.
1 of 2 DOA
Pros: They're cheap and have heavily molded connectors, not the tiny lightweight ones you find on iDevices.
Cons: One of the two I ordered showed up DOA. It continuously connected and disconnected the attached device for a couple minutes and died. COD is probably a capacitance problem due to a damaged wire.
Overall Review: Skip this brand or order twice as many as you need.
Mum is the word
Pros: These things are quiet and just as easy to clean as they promise. I was pretty impressed.
Overall Review: I started just replacing a dying fan with one of these and ended up buying them for all the desktops in my house. They really are amazing. The description doesn't make it clear, but you just pull the fan blade out the intake side of the fan and it comes right out. It feels weird coming out - like it's not meant to - but it comes straight out. There will be a little oil on the shaft, it looks like plain mineral oil. So if you rinse or wash the blade you may want to put a TINY amount back on the shaft.
Quiet and Effective
Pros: This thing really is amazingly quiet. It moves a sufficient amount of air for my needs.
Overall Review: I'm using a pair of these on the cabinet my desktop is in to pull air in. They work well even pulling through air filters (though the filters obviously reduce air flow). One if these is probably enough for most cases, though some people with overclocks may need two. Any more than that is just compensating.
Work Well - On Furniture
Pros: These actually work pretty well and are very easy to pop off an clean.
Cons: They probably will be a PITA if you try and use them on the inside of your case.
Overall Review: I use these on the cabinet I have my desktop stored in to filter the incoming air through two 120mm fans. They work really well for that application, but might not work so well on or in a computer case.
