Overall Review: I own WD's from 1 month to 3 years old and never had an issue. Love my WD's! Because of flooding in Thailand ( almost 600 dead) hard drives have tripled in price. Thailand production accounts for over one quarter of the hard drives manufactured WORLDWIDE. WD & Samsung have closed down plants. Not the time to be shopping for hard drives (which kinda seems petty against the loss of 600 real life ppl). Analysts say prices may take up to a year to come back down to what they were a couple of months ago.

Pros: None at this time..Zilch...Nada....

Cons: Well, well, well...Let's see.. My second one is failing after 2 weeks just like the first... That means 2 400 dollar cards done for. TBH, my faith in a quality product from XFX is all but shattered presently. Absolutely ridiculous.

Overall Review: Irritation. Disappointment. Hopelessness. Not something YOU want in a card. Pretty sure I'll hafta go through XFX now. One thing I've noticed in the reviews is that the cards with coil whine appear to be the most susceptible to failure. Only way to give this card 5 stars now is IF XFX sent me a second one for Xfire FOR FREE(!) I WILL be updating on this...

Pros: This is a very nice card. Got this because my 7970 is out for replacement (*grumble* xfx..meh *grumble*) and I couldn't wait 2 to 4 weeks with NO card (*chokes back tears*). This HIS 7850 is sweet! It runs a heavy modded Skyrim at the same settings as my 7970(!). Only 30 to 40 frames (also depends on the ENB) instead a full 60. Was on sale when I bought it plus I had a $40 gift certificate. So, I practically stole it off a newegg (mwahahaha!). Came with 2 free games, but can be a "con" when you want your $$$ back...

Cons: Not 3 or 4 gig. Seriously, make the memory bigger (to handle more texture mods. future proof, etc...).

Overall Review: Really, REALLY like this card. Runs cool, quiet and best of all... NO COIL WHINE!!!! Yes, I'm looking at you my dear 7970...*grrrrrr* If I was looking for something just under the GTX 670 I'd get this in a heartbeat! Can't wait for the 8850 or GTX 770. Bring on the next gen..!

Pros: Immediately recognized by my lappy. G. Skill quality! New life to an aging laptop... Perfect for older laptops.

Overall Review: Bought this for a Dell Inspiron 2200 that was given to me. It's an older lappy, but it was FREE so... It originally had 250 Mb (I know, right. Lame!) and was waaaaayyyy slooooowwww. Installed this memory and (bam!) it's like a whole other lappy. A lot faster. Also, I have G. Skill in my 2 other desktop builds and LOVE it. Never had an issue with G. Skill memory...

Pros: Worx flawlessly with the lappy. Quality built. Tiny dongle.

Cons: Small for big hands.

Overall Review: Bought this as a gift for my mum to go with her lappy. Worx great. Works on every surface so far(haven't tried glass yet..). All in all very happy. Got this onna sik deal too..hehe

Pros: Had a 6790 with tons of issues that this card has NONE of! Runs Crysis at ultra and my other games maxed out. Installed latest drivers (don't use the disc) and zero issues. Very nice upgrade from GT 240!! Want to get another for teh Crossfire, but I need a new MOBO for that... *sigh*

Cons: Not a 6990? Fan could be quieter and it does run warm. No physix. Zero functioning issues though. See "other thoughts"...

Overall Review: I had originally bought the PC 6790. Big mistake! Not only is it less powerful, it had issues galore. Kept getting the dreaded "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error. "Google it" and find all kinds of triggers, but no real solution. Game crashes and glitches all over the place. AMD's suggestion was to do a fresh install of the OS. Nope. Sorry. Not gonna happen. Didn't have to do it with my Nvidia card. Not gonna do it for the 6790 either. If your deciding between the 6790 and 6850, go with the latter! You won't be disappointed!
