Pros: I use this for the boot drive so I can swap out hard drives depending on what OS I want and it works flawlessly on my main computer and my work computer.
Overall Review: I purchase one of these so I could swap out the main SSD to switch from Windows to Ubuntu. It worked so well I put one of these in my work computer and it also works great.
Cons: Did not work, nothing more to say
Overall Review: Purchased one 6' (this one) and 3 - 3'. The 3' ones all work, the 6' one didn't.
I understand that every once in a while something comes off the line with a defect so I'm not going to blast the company or product like other people do. I'll bet if I bought 2, the 2nd one would have worked just fine.
They are well put together, solid, I just ended up with a defective one.
Pros: Worked great out of the box.
Follow up: It's been over 3 years and these cable are still working just fine.
Overall Review: Mike said if you use these cables other ones won't work. I have the MSI R7850 Twin Frozr 2GD5OC and it works with an HDMI cable to get me 2 displays but the DVI wouldn't work for a 3rd.
I'm trying to get 3 monitors to work. My vid card has 2 of these mini ports, 1 HDMI and 1 DVI.
I'm ordering another one of these. I figure if 1 of these works with the HDMI, maybe 2 will, giving me 3 displays. I'll post another review when the cable arrives.
Follow up: I still could not get 3 monitors to work.
Pros: So far they are all working. I put these in customers computers and so far I have heard nothing, that's good news.
The first 2 I bought one month ago and the last one was just a week ago so I can't say anything about how they last.
The cables are long enough to reach anywhere even in a mid size tower and the fan is quiet.
For the price, I can't complain.
Cons: No cons at this time
Cons: It worked for about an hour then just died.
Pros: Charges fast.
Cons: 2 ports died in about an hour of use.
Has a power switch. This is why I only gave it 2 stars, maybe I should have given it 3. All the car chargers I've had before go on when the power goes on, but not this one, more about this in the "other" section.
Overall Review: I thought I'd get used to the power switch, but I haven't. I bought this for a trip from Milwaukee to Chattanooga Tennessee, and about a half hour into the trip my Tom-Tom went dead. That is when I noticed the power switch. Then the same thing would happen every time we would stop for gas or food. I know, this is kind of my fault, but still, no other brand I've owned had power switches, it's stupid, the power goes off on the cigarette lighter when you turn the car off, there is no reason for a switch.
We used this for the 2 weeks we were on vacation and every time I got on the road, my Tom-Tom would die about a half hour later and I'd realize I forgot to turn it on. Even after the 2 weeks of vacation I keep forgetting, not every time but most of the time, it just happened again today. I just can't get used to a power switch on something like this. I have 3 of these from the same company for the home, they plug in the wall and there is no power switch. Actually I could see having a power switch on the home models, that would make sense because they are always plugged in and there is always power coming from the outlet..
Then there are the 2 ports that went dead, but I don't have a problem with that, sometimes a product slips by with a defect, I don't blame anyone, I'm sure if I was to get a replacement it would not have the same problem. I figured out how to fix it though; every time those ports would go dead, all I had to do was hit the top of it with my knuckles and they would start working and stay on until we turned the car off. There is a blue power light, when the 2 ports go dead the light goes off, so I just have to hit it until the light comes on then I know they're working.
Pros: Easy to setup, great economy board, perfect for general use, web browsing, looking at picture and and watching movies.
Overall Review: First time I pushed the power button it started right up. Windows 7 installed perfect first try. Runs fast for a budget system.
-Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
-Intel Pentium G3220 Haswell Dual-Core 3.0 GHz
Pros: I had no problem installing everything, yea, it was tight, but I expected that.
Solid feel, nice looking.
I would love this case but.....
Cons: I'm not sure if one egg is fair, but with a mistake like this, I can't give it more.
The extension cord that is built in, doesn't work...
I installed everything, all new parts, and it went well. Then I hit the power button and nothing.
Because I'm good at troubleshooting, my first thought was to turn it on its side and plug directly into to the power supply and it started right up.
So, I took out my ohm meter and tested the built in extension cord and only 2 of the 3 connections worked, the 3rd is an open circuit, and unfortunately, it's not the ground.
So, now I have to return it meaning I have to take it back apart, wait for the replacement, and re-build it :(
Overall Review: I would have given this 5 eggs if the power cord wasn't defective, because it is a solid nice looking case.
You have to use this "built in" extension cord, you cannot plug directly into the power supply because the back of the PSU is pointed down and there is no room for a regular cord to fit and still stand this case upright. They supply this with an extension cord that goes from the back of the case and out the bottom. The end of the cord is at a 90 degree angle because there is no room under the case for a straight cord.
Pros: I bought 3 of these over a year ago, all are working.
Overall Review: I keep seeing all these people complaining about the cheap feel of them, constructed cheap, but none are complaining about these falling apart. They are light weight, but none of mine have broken, and for this price, you're are getting what you pay for.
One person here said that after opening he knew he didn't want to use it for anything important like school work, without even trying it. I bought one of these for my 10 year old daughter before the school year started LAST year, she would just throw it in her backpack, other stuff like books would be on top. Well, she's using it again this year, so how they "feel" is not an indication of how they are.
Cons: I tried to transfer one folder, 1.3 gigs, the highest speed I got was 292 KB/second, time was over 5 hours. So I reboot and try again, starts out at 12 megs/sec but slows down to 5.5 megs then just stops, and disconnects, as did the web interface. Now I can't access it anymore, piece of junk.
Overall Review: I bought mine somewhere else, and it's going back.
Pros: I was lucky, the package did not break open so I have 100 good CD's, and they do work.
Cons: As others mentioned, they put this little package of CD's in a huge box and throw just a little brown paper with it so they bounce around during shipping. I can see where the package can easily break and you end up with a box of scratched CD's.
Also, take note, they do not come with a spindle even though they're advertized as "spindle disk". That was no problem for me as I have old spindles laying around.
Under the specs it says:
Packaging - Spindle
Overall Review: I took 2 stars off because of packaging and there is no spindle, they should say this instead of lying.
Pros: Bought for a customer not myself. The customer was happy with the looks. It's been a few months and I haven't heard back so I assume it's still working fine.
Pros: Works nice, light, solid, good clicking as you scroll.
Cons: I only purchased a Microsoft mouse because I I like the Microsoft software. It used to be "intelimouse" now it's "Mouse and Keyboard Center". I was using a cheap MS Mobile mouse 3000 that is falling apart and this was supposed to be a replacement. When I plugged it in, the software told me that there is no MS product detected. Through some searching I found a page that said this mouse is not supported by that software, told me to install the old "intelimouse" software. So I did that, first 8.2, then 7.1, neither worked. Next I called MS and they told me that they can't find anything as far as drivers or software, but they said they could look on the internet for me, but it will cost, yea right, like I'd pay them to google it for me.
Overall Review: Again, if you don't care for the software, it's a good mouse. I like to use the scroll accelerator, and make the wheel click so it acts as a double click.
Newegg already took care of the return, they always go above and beyond for their customer.
Pros: Fast. I get the read speed as advertized (540MB/s, 547827 actual and my write is higher than the specs (410MB/s), I get 504104.
Pros: Never tested speeds but it does what I need.
Cons: Power is on side, so I took off one star, should have been on the back.
Pros: Bought 3 of these on sale just to have some cheap basic vid cards as spares for when customers needed them. I just sold the last one, all 3 worked fine.
Overall Review: For the price these are great.
Pros: Not much to say. Put it together and it worked great. Basic BIOS settings were easy enough.
Overall Review: For compatibility reasons I'll post what I built with. I've had no problems at all.

Of course hard drive and CD/DVD info is not important.
Pros: Small, doesn't stick out of my car stereo like normal ones do.
Already formatted in FAT32, worked in the car stereo right out of the box, no formatting needed.
Cons: Why do I have to put something here? Okay, one con, I think it's stupid that the web designer forces people to write a con before you can click "submit", but doesn't require a title.
Sometimes there are no cons.
Overall Review: I was expecting to have to format this like the last one I bought (different brand) but when I checked it was FAT32 so I quickly dumped a couple of folders with MP3's on it, ran out to the car to test it and it worked, no formatting.
I was really surprised because another reviewer said his came formatted in exFAT.
Kingston must have changed how they format them at the factory.
Pros: works as it should. Prints fairly fast. This is my first laser printer so I can't say to much.
Cons: Set up for the USB was easy, the wireless was another thing. I read the reviews and followed the tips but still couldn't get it. Then I downloaded the "easy wireless setup" program from Samsung and was done in seconds.
Overall Review: Go to http://www.samsung.com/my/support/model/SCX-3400/XSS-downloads and download the "easy wireless setup" app and the "setup IP".
Drivers are at http://www.samsung.com/my/support/model/SCX-3400/XSS-downloads
Pros: I wasn't going to review this, I don't have time to review everything I buy from Newegg, but I had to after reading some of the reviews. I had to make up for the bad reviews by people lacking brains and common sense. Some gave a bad review because of missing rebates, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW THE PRODUCT WORKS, get a brain. What about those of us that are buying when there is no rebate offered? Do you think that your bad review because you didn't get your rebate will help me make my decision when there is no rebate offered?
One brainless person left a bad review because he didn't get a power cord with the PSU. It is stated in the features: NO POWER CORD SUPPLIED so why the heII would you leave a bad review for that? Antec did nothing wrong, the customer even said it works great but gave 1 star because of no cord, so brainless.
Overall Review: I purchased over 25 of these in the last few years and not one has failed. I would never consider another PSU If I don't need more than 380 watts
Pros: They work great. You can order these or the other colors (blue or red) to change your helicopters colors, pretty cool...
Cons: Way over priced!!! I just received this from someone else and only paid three bucks with free shipping, and that was NOT on sale. I paid twenty nine bucks for the helicopter at Newegg, why would I pay twenty one for just a few parts?
Overall Review: These are good parts, but shop around, this price is ridiculous!
Pros: I use one port for my Tomtom and the other for charging phones and I have no problems
Pros: Pretty solid, no sharp edges that I noticed (I never get cut on cases but others are always complaining about this), plenty of room...
Cons: The front HDD and power light wires are very short but worked find for me.
My main complaint is the HDD and power lights. The front has elongated lights that would look great but they messed up and made one a hard drive light and the other the power light. Because it's a HDD light, it goes out when not in use, this makes the case look terrible, looks like it's shorting or burning out. I ended up connecting the HDD light wire to power light wire so now the lights are on all the time, now it looks great - see video...
Overall Review: Who ever set up the front lights is the opposite of smart...
Pros: I've had this for a year and 7 months and it's working great still, has since the day I put it in.
Cons: Slow for a SSD but still faster than a normal HDD.
Pros: I've built at least 50 systems with this board over the last couple of years and none have come back yet. I also built my wife's PC with this board and it's just rock solid.
This board it perfect for people that just want something solid to brows the internet, look at pictures, listen to music and watch movies on Windows XP, VIsta 7 and 8 32 and 64 bit and I'll bet it will be fine for future OS's.
Cons: none at all.
Overall Review: I wish they would not have discontinued these, I have built at least 15 computers in the last couple of months and this board would have been the perfect board. Now I'm looking to upgrade my daughters PC and this is exactly what I need. I can't find a board at this price that even comes close to this quality.
