280x Replacement Fans

Thermaltake DuraMax 9 AF0059 92mm Case Cooler
Thermaltake DuraMax 9 AF0059 92mm Case Cooler

Pros: - Good Discount if you buy more than 1 - Comes with a full molex 4-pin passthru - Good air movement - Quiet

Cons: - None

Overall Review: I had the fan set on a MSI 280x start to fail (bearing issue). I removed the stock fans and assembly and zip tied a pair of these to it (fans are connected to a 3 pin splitter and then to a 4-pin molex) so they run at 100% all the time. The card is actually runs a few degrees cooler than it ever did stock.

Works well if close to Router

ENCORE ENLWI-N Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0 PCI 2.3 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
ENCORE ENLWI-N Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0 PCI 2.3 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Cheap 3 antennas - it uses the best signal of the three Easy to install and get running.

Cons: Had to search to find updated drivers online. Weak reception (2dbi antennas)

Overall Review: I installed two of these. On in the basement in a machine across the room from the router (Netgear N) and one upstairs. The one in the same room has a 270mbps transmit and a 240 receive. Upstairs, it's barely a 20% signal and it drops all the time. I know my building is terrible for signals, so I'm going to try a better antenna (N82E16812189159) and see if that helps.

Can't beat it for the price

Pros: No dead pixels. Color looks great. Came with VGA and DVI cables. Built in speakers are loud enough for youtube or game play.

Cons: None
