Once Set Up, Not Too Bad
Pros: Good price for the system, got it on sale. Buffalo still has a good reputation. Set up is straight forward. I am running two of these at RAID 10. One being a backup of the other. Speed of transfers are good. Interface is a bit of a pain, but workable. Running Linux OS, easy script control for the systems. They run 24/7 and keep on performing well.
Cons: Only 3 TB max for drives. Set up directions just ok. Speed of tranfers +\- . Running jumbo frame seems to be better. Only USB 2.0. Keep it cool, can get a bit warm running 4 drives. Non upgradable ram. Not hot drive swappable, rebuild on an Array is slow.
Overall Review: Running 4 drives can be a bit expensive. Have to be matched drives from what I had had experience with. Running Seagate 2TB NAS series. So far it seems to be a good match. All in all, price is good for a steady NAS.
Boxed Brick Bummer
Pros: Nice looking board, Some good features. Easy install.
Cons: Getting it to post. Bios Bricked it.
Overall Review: I was surprised at this board. I have used ASRock boards in the past. They have run great and were easy to work with. This board was either shipped with bad Bios or was a brick to begin with. I tried all the suggested tweeks and directions. All to no avail. I thought it was the CPU but not the case. Tech support was NON existent. I sent it back and got a different board that fired right up and went to work. Newegg was great about the RMA and took care of the problem. I will look at different boards from now on. Too bad ASROCK.
The right parts at the right price
Pros: I needed new drives for system rebuild. I have used WD drives for many years. Newegg has the parts and got them right out to me. I will have to see how these drives work out.
Overall Review: Good service, fast shipping and great prices, why go else where?

Simple to install, Keps things cool
Pros: It's already put together. Closed system, filled and ready to go. It's a Corsair !!
Cons: The coolant hoses are pretty stiff and beefy. I had to warm them up to make them a bit more pliable. Not a deal killer though, just let them sit in the sunshine for a few.
Overall Review: Great for the first time H2O cooling system. Great price too !!!
It's where the MS O/S's are headed. Good for networked systems
Pros: Faster than 7 or XP, I prefer the 64 bit Pro series seems to run steady
Cons: Let the user install what he/she wants, don't cram Cortia, Edge, Ect up our backsides ... We own it, let us choose ... too much backend apps.
Overall Review: Yeah, it's costly ... It's Microsoft ... Still a great product, runs networked large jumbo nets well, remotes well too
RAM done the RIGHT WAY.
Needed a certain type of RAM for a DELL. I have used this vendor before. They got the right pieces to me in a very quick manner. Also, the prices won't break the bank. Every piece I have gotten worked as advertised. Keep this vendor NEWEGG, great service and easy to work with,
