Hours of fun...5 minutes at a time

Pros: Looks good, LED lights are cool. Fairly sturdy for as small and light as it is. Wasn't expecting much for such a relatively low price, so was pleasantly surprised overall.
Cons: Landing gear is chintzy. Female charging end on helicopter looks/feels fragile, but no problems yet. On/off switch is tiny.
Overall Review: Keep this away from long hair, shag carpet, and nervous pets. Expect to adjust trim as the battery fades.
Looks good so far....

Pros: Low price (shellshocker), small in size, simple to use, records on SD/SDHC cards, comes with necessary cables and 4GB SDHC card (mine was class 4).
Cons: Easy to use, but setup controls aren't necessarily intuitive. I'd like to turn down or mute the system sounds (startup, button press), but that doesn't seem to be an option.
Overall Review: <Just received today, so these comments are initial impressions. Only used for a couple of test pix/videos.> When the SD card is inserted in the base of the unit, it displaces a spring-loaded door...the edge of the SD card is visible and there's a potential for sand and other small contaminants to get in (be careful where you put it down). The placement of the lens makes it unlikely that the user's fingers will get in the way, but the lack of a lens cover or a recessed lens may make it susceptible to scratches. I'll wait and see....
