Cooler and quieter than 560ti sli
Pros: Runs very quiet and cool. Had a 560ti ds sli setup and it ran hot and loud under load.
Cons: Not as fast as I thought it would be.
Overall Review: Was upgrading from evga 560ti ds sc sli setup and this card performs slightly slower in most of the benchmarks I tested. Could not find many tests on the web comparing the two so I hope this will help others that may be upgrading from the cards I had.
Great sub for the money
Pros: This sub is great. Glad I didn't get the psw110 and spent the little bit more on this. After a few days of use the sub comes to life. I am coming from a Sony sawx700 push pull sub that died on me, and am pleased so far. Not as tight as the old sub, but this is a vented unit so that is expected.
Cons: None yet, hope this one lasts as long as my last sub.
Overall Review: This model is discontinued by Polk. Get it while it is still available as when it's replacement comes around the price is sure to go up.
Such a great case, I had to buy it again.
Pros: Sold my last one of these to try out the antec 900. Like the airflow, but hated that every speck of dust in the air was ending up in my case. The lancool has a great layout and is much easier to work with than any other case I have used.
Cons: My only gripe with this case is that the disk drive cage in right up against the front fans, but this was solved by drilling new holes and moving the cage back about an inch.
Overall Review: It seems that lian li places the disk cage right near the fans on a lot of their cases. Moving this back just a bit makes a big difference in airflow, just wish they would do it so I would not need to.
Great Cpu for cheap upgrade
Pros: Will work on asus crosshair I motherboard with 1207 bios. Helped with bottleneck of Sli 8800gts 512's. 3dmark06 went from 12706 to 17100 at default settings.
Cons: Not knowing if it would work when I ordered it. I hope there will be a bios update to get rid of the unknown processor message in bios and in cpu-z.
Overall Review: Glad I got this chip instead of the 9950, Set multiplier to 18 and runs at 3.6 at stock voltage.
Great upgrade for those on a budget
Pros: Took a chance to see if this processor would work on my Crosshair I motherboard and it does. Running the 1207 bios. Bios and post screen will say unkonwn phenom processor, as will cpu-z under windows, but all test worked without a hitch in xp and vista64. Removed some of the bottleneck from my sli 8800gts 512's.
Cons: Ordered first thing release day and didn't get free shipping. The fear that it would not work in my motherboard when I got it.
Overall Review: Anyone running a crosshair I motherboard should get the phenom II instead of the older model. Your HT will be reduced, but you will still have a far better processor as far as o.c. potential and performance out of the box.
