Stunning Visuals and Stunning Performance!

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support G-SYNC Support Video Card STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5
ASUS GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support G-SYNC Support Video Card STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5

Pros: Basically the best 300-400 dollar GPU out there, this thing has really great features that will make it future proof. Such as, 4 gigs of dedicated video RAM, Direct X12 support, and G SYNC support. Obviously all of the great Nvidia technologies work with this GPU, but let me get to the main purpose of this review which is tell you my performance and experience with it. Games I tested were: Far Cry 4, Titanfall, Battlefield 4, MGS 5 Ground Zeroes, Shadow of Mordor, Dead Rising 3, Dark Souls, Crysis 3 and Watch Dogs. All those games were tested maxed settings with x2 AA since I don't really feel the need for a lot of AA. Every game ran with at least 60 fps at 1920x1080p and the only game that I had FPS problems was with Watch Dogs but that's because of Ubisoft so I can't do much there. Now the cooler performance on this card is very good. I noticed at only 40-50 percent fan load this card stayed in the low 60's Celsius. It's also very quiet and only uses one 8 pin connector which is very power conserving.

Cons: Now this isn't really a con towards the product but towards ASUS's software called GPU Tweak 2.0. Overall the software is good, but its buggy and I've had some issues with it. Such as it starting up but its not actually there and then saying its already running, after uninstalling and re-installing it finally has decided run without problems. Personally I would recommend MSI afterburner, I have had less problems with it and its less buggy.

Disappointing Dead Motherboard

GIGABYTE GA-Z97-HD3 (rev. 2.0) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-Z97-HD3 (rev. 2.0) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I can't really say much positive about a motherboard that doesn't work, I'll say the price was good for all the features it has. It has all the features I wanted; just the fact it is dead I can't do anything with it.

Cons: Where to start? First off when I went to go power on my pc, the lights on the led fans and the led light on the board would switch on for a second and turn back off. So I decided to check the wiring and make sure everything was in correctly, so it was and then I tested it again and same result when I powered on the first time. So I tried to call a local store for some tech support and they said to check if your powersupply is working. I brought it to them and then they tested it and yes indeed the powersupply works, so then we took out the board and unplugged everything out of the board for any physical damage. None at all, we then plugged everything back in and turn on the powersupply and then the led light on the board flickered and turned back off. So the guy working there told me I have a dead motherboard, but everything else was working fine. I guess that's the only good thing about this story.

Overall Review: I requested an RMA for this board and it's currently on its way to newegg returns so hopefully I will get a replacement board in the coming weeks. I will update this review on my replacement board when it comes in. Pros: Looks nices, not bad price.

Cons: Does not fit with current my motherboard, it did fit with my previous motherboard but the whole thing sagged on the board and it looked terrible. I wasn't able to test to see how it ran because my motherboard ending up being dead so I ended up buying a replacement. That being the ASUS Z97 Sabertooth Mark 2, tried installing it and it would just not line up properly. I just ended up using the Intel stock heatsink...surprisingly worked better. Also this thing is huge, be careful when buying a smaller case.

Overall Review: Heard good things about this but didn't expect it to not it with my board. First time using an SSD

SanDisk Ultra Plus SDSSDHP-128G-G25 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
SanDisk Ultra Plus SDSSDHP-128G-G25 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: I ordered this product a few months ago, around the end of September so I've just now been able to use it since my PC is built. I can finally say this is quality product! After I installed all my components I then went to install the OS, that being Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I can tell you, it was about 10 minutes long and then after that the computer restarted a few times and then done! My OS was installed, literally the fastest install of windows I've ever seen. Boot up times are now under ten seconds from when I press my power button and my main system files, like steam and such load up so fast. Battlefield 4 launches immediately after I join a server and I get in-game within a minute. The amount of storage this thing holds is great for me, enough for my OS, Steam, a few primary games, and my graphics card drivers. I still have around 25 gigs left after all that. I highly recommend this product but see below in other thoughts about the pricing an availability.

Cons: None really to be completely honest.

Overall Review: I wish the price of this SSD was still 59.99 when I bought it, but it seems newegg doesn't stock it anymore? I'm not completely sure since I see other companies on the page selling it for way more. All I can really say is try it find it elsewhere, good luck! Great CPU Especially for gaming

Intel Core i5-4690K - Core i5 4th Gen Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 88W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I54690K

Pros: All around this CPU is a beast. I'm running it at stock and I'm very happy with my results in game. Battlefield 4 with the Ultra preset over 60 fps, Titanfall on Ultra settings 60 fps never lags or stutters. Dark Souls now runs on my new pc, locked at 30 fps but hey it ran at 15 fps and dropped on my previous computer! APB Reloaded which is very cpu and ram intensive is 62 fps and never drops. Dead Rising 3 with the framelock disable 40 fps and plus. Finally I tested out Skyrim Ultra preset and 60 fps and above. Obviously I mainly use this CPU for gaming but for basic desktop use, I zip through everything super fast. Loads up HD video, music, and high resolution pictures quite fast! I can't wait to start doing some video editing and picture editing with this cpu! I also tried to do some in game recording and I was actually very surprised at how well my cpu ran. I took a video of dark souls and it did not stutter at all during the recording! I'm very happy with this cpu and I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an all around great cpu and that don't really want to pay for an i7.

Cons: None actually.

Overall Review: I've heard a lot of people talk bad about the stock cooler and honestly I'm using it on my system and it works fine for me since I'm not overclocking. Though I would recommend not to use this for overclocking. The temps are great with the stock cooler, it idles at 30c and when under load its usually around 50-60c. So I'm happy with the stock cooler along with the processor. Coming from a dead board this thing is great!

ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK2 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK2 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Well the first board I bought was a gigabyte board around 100 dollars and to be honest I got what I paid for. Though i didin't expect the board to come in dead and non functioning. Besides that I tried to go with another brand that being ASUS...One of the best decisions I've ever made! Man I just love this board, all the features it has and the heatsinks and it just looks sweet! When putting my computer together I didn't really run into any problems just plug in and play. The board recognized everything. The windows installation was the quickest I've ever seen! It lasted only about 10-15 minutes. Good thing I got an SSD. All in all this is a really great board with superb quality and if you're wondering about getting this board don't hesitate buy it now!

Cons: None at all! I'm a very happy customer now with ASUS!!
