Most Favorable Review

Worked on Ubuntu 11.04 fine

PowerColor Go! Green Radeon HD 5450 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 CrossFireX Support Low Profile Video Card (UEFI Ready) AX5450 1GBK3-SHEV4

Pros: Installed easily. ATI driver installed in Linux easily and by simple menu selection. Came well packaged but not excessively (envelope not box).

Cons: ATI proprietary Driver isn't the most intuitive interface.

Overall Review: I wanted to drive two monitors from my Ubuntu box. This card works great, one on HDMI port, and one on DVI-D port.

Windows 10 - requires some setup

Scythe USB-3FS-2 USB Foot Switch 2 Triple
Scythe USB-3FS-2 USB Foot Switch 2 Triple

Pros: extremely well built. Sized for real feet (size 11, and its not too small.) peddles have excellent feel - travel to depress is not too long.

Cons: - does not function out of box as it says - default settings are literally numbers 1,2 & 3 for peddles. Software to program peddles would not save settings. I had to go -Device Manager> USB Controllers> USB Composite Device and force it to reload. It says it has the most recent driver already, but NOW the reprogramming software works, and you can set mouse functions.

Overall Review: The price-performance value here is excellent. While it would be nice of it integrated properly, that's a solvable problem.

Pros: Nicely designed hardware - no cables - Drives plug right into the buss in the back. Good support both from HP and community relatively easy to upgrade Quiet! I'm all of 3 feet from it all day and only notice the occasional clicking - no fan noise at all.

Cons: Slow indexing MP3 files After several hours, I gave up trying to figure out the private folders configuration. Tech support sent info, but either it wasn't clear or it was wrong. If you need privacy/security, I suggest a different unit or be prepared to study and test a lot.

Overall Review: I purchased one of these and two 1TB seagate drives. Using software from the HP website, I was able to pop the 500 gb drive it shipped with, install the 1TB drives, install the OS, and Mirror the drives without hassle. I did find it necessary to get software from HP (its not on the CD that ships with the system). It did take some time for you XP machines to discover this box. I would DEFINITELY buy this configuration again. NewEgg delivery was super, as usual.
