CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5
CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5

Pros: You can get 8 GB of memory for $50 flat. Corsair has a great RMA system even if it does break. Most Corsair ram is compatible with all chipsets. This is the best deal ever on 800 mhz ram!

Cons: If you know what you are doing, the only con is waiting in the mail for the product to arrive.

Overall Review: Use Vista 64 Ultimate as an O/S and turn off the page file so that this ram can do all the work and your computer will fly! It will make most games run out of ram and save on hard drive MTBF! Definitely worth it for 64-bit Vista....and the new Quad core CPUs.

Great for budget gaming.

Intel Pentium G850 - Pentium Sandy Bridge Dual-Core 2.9 GHz LGA 1155 65W Desktop Processor - SR05Q

Pros: It works. It is inexpensive and has integrated graphics.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Recommended for people new to building computer systems.

Great Laptop Value

ASUS Laptop Intel Core i5-3230M 6GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 610M 17.3" Windows 8 64-Bit F75VD-NS51
ASUS Laptop Intel Core i5-3230M 6GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 610M 17.3" Windows 8 64-Bit F75VD-NS51

Pros: The large screen is bright and clear. The WEI data got a 7.4 for CPU and RAM speed. Business graphics had a WEI of 5.6 and the gaming graphics got a 6.6. Of course, the little spindle drive, got a 5.4 index score. This is very good for a notebook in this price category.

Cons: The mechanical Hard Drive, slow, wasting battery power.

Overall Review: Switch out the drive with a Mushkin Chronos 120 GB SSD and prepare to see a computer that moves as fast as turning the page.

Worth the extra cash!

Panasonic Viera 42" 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV TC-L42D30
Panasonic Viera 42" 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV TC-L42D30

Pros: Makes older DVD's look almost like Blu-Ray. You can hook up your computer to it and get more than your money's worth using the VGA or HDMI connectors. Even in 480i mode off just standard cable (non-HD) is good if you're on a budget. The black level is the best of most of the LEDs since this one is entirely LED backlit (not edgelit like most LED TV's). I bought this TV solely for that reason. LED's can last for up to 40 years, but the TV will not (it could probably be fixed to last up to 25 years). There is your reason to purchase. When you tweak the settings manually, almost all videos are a visual delight. And don't worry about the hidden pricetag - it beats all the other sites.

Cons: If I was too picky, I'd be a nut about the cons. But if you are tech savvy, it could use a bigger, learning remote and more older style connectors. And like always, it did not come with an HDMI cable - (those are cheap anyway). They could have thrown in a WIFI antenna built into the TV (the card is cheap to buy).

Overall Review: I love hooking my PC up to this TV and watching free streaming movies and downloaded media. Just get a wireless keyboard and mouse & you're in for pleasure trip. Games are awesome! No glare, whiter whites and darker darks. When tweaked, any game or video will please you. Hook up an HD antenna, and cancel your cable or dish subscription. You can watch most TV on this for free with a broadband internet connection and an HTPC. This LED TV is worth the extra cash compared to the other lesser quality brands (about 85% of LED TV's out there do not have features like this one, in this specific type of TV with a FULL LED BACKLIGHT ARRAY!) Be sure to order the 4 year extended warranty (Newegg has the best warranty plans ever). You will not be sorry with this purchase!!!

G.SKILL PIS Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model F3-16000CL6D-4GBPIS
G.SKILL PIS Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model F3-16000CL6D-4GBPIS

Pros: On an I7, this blows away most of the older quads. It can be used on the older quad systems however. You can use Socket 775 with this ram or the I7 boards. I really would love to try this... the latency is better than my 800 mhz ram. The CAS latency is 6.

Cons: The gift that no one could buy.

Overall Review: Why charge so much when the market really demands it?!? Seriously, this RAM should sell at $150 for 4 GB.
