LIAN LI Lancool PC-K58W Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI Lancool PC-K58W Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Well built and inexpensive. No extra makeup like LEDs and weird paint accents or odd case designs for vanity sake. Everything went in pretty easy, the hard drive cage removes with only 3 screws. The expansion slots on the back of clamps instead of screws. Fits an aftermarket heatsink(CM 212 Evo) with plenty of room to spare. Screwless systems are nice and work well. Wonderful airflow and the filter on the bottom PSU intake is a nice touch.

Cons: There is a latching clamp included to secure the PSU down which puts quite a lot of pressure onto the PSU case. Probably not more than is safe, but if you use it becareful if/when you have to remove it. It can be under a fair bit of pressure and may pop open with a lot of force. I actually got a nasty blood blister from it pinching me popping open with so much unexpected force. It would of been nice to be able to buy one without the panel window, I'm not into LEDs or case dressing. A friend oversea's has this same case but they sell them there without side panel windows and it would of been nice to of had that option here in the US. Also no USB 3.0 on the front, but it is an older model.

Overall Review: Overall it seems like a really good buy for the price. None of my cons inhibit my enjoyment of the case and shouldnt sway anyone from buying this case as it's worth every penny.

i5 daily OC @ 4.2ghz

Intel Core i5-3570K - Core i5 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I53570K
Intel Core i5-3570K - Core i5 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I53570K

Pros: I've had this processor since fall and live in a fairly cool climate. I've kept it overclocked since shortly after purchasing it. I run a 4.2 ghz OC on air cooling with a hyper212 evo and saw a drop in temps after the OC when idling and only small gains in temp under load. I run the OC undervolted from stock with no stability issues in an asrock extreme4. I've had no quality control issues with this processor and it's worked as stated since day of installation.

Cons: None. It is what it is.

Overall Review: I bought this processor to take my first dip into overclocking and it's been a fun and pain free experience. I recommend it for anyone interested in OCing for the first time.
