Awe magnet

Comments: I just bought this case b/c it looked a little different, like the curves. What suprised me was everyone's reaction. People asked me if it flies. Everyone at work and people who see it want to know if I can make one for them. Extremely light case, very well put together, everything modular. Plastic very high quality and glossy. PSU surprisingly strong; running AMD 3800 X2 @ 245FSB (2.45GHz) and 7800GT overclocked (non-SLI) with 2 SATA drives in RAID, DVD-RW, and never a hiccup, including FEAR at max settings while folding in the background. Don't know if it will handle SLI, but the PSU permits me to use this case stock until I get some more cash for a top-end PSU. May not even need if it the PSU holds up as it has! Fans extremely quiet. Door and magnet very sturdy feeling. Fit and finish top notch and visible when handling. I go through lots of cases building PCs for people, and this one seems to catch everyone's attention. Moreso for me, it's oustanding and easy to work with.
Awesome!

Pros: I have to say I am really impressed with this laptop. The matte full HD screen is outstanding, the keyboard is the closest I have seen to a Mac, 670MX performance is excellent. Excellent build quality, no flex anywhere. The keyboard surround is aluminum so no fingerprints anywhere. The palm rests are a soft rubbery material which is extremely comfortable. Virtually no heat on the KB even after hours of gameplay. Even at full 1080P gaming, can only hear a faint 'woosh' out the back. This was the first laptop that my wife didn't say anything while at the table (compared to numerous complaints with my former Alienware). Surprisingly can get 3 hours of battery with wifi and fairly high brightness on the screen (not gaming, casual browsing). Win7 drivers! There are Win7 drivers! You can actually have a brand new full gaming laptop without the atrocity that is Windows 8!
Cons: This thing is BIG! But if you are gaming, you know what you are getting. Power brick is big and also heavy. Doesn't come with Bluray but I used that close to never in my other laptop.
Overall Review: In all fairness of Windows 8, it's not bad if you have a tablet or a touchscreen. But I feel that OS is more if you want top play with social media. For actual work, I would even get a Mac before Windows 8. Hoping 8.1 can make workstations be used for productivity again instead of facebook and twitter, so people over 19 can accept it.
As good as Corsair!

Pros: I've been building rigs for years, and have always been a Corsair guy (for gaming machines). I wound up doing a server build for a customer and they already had a Seasonic. Noticed really solid voltages during stress testing, so gambled on this guy. Top notch! Reviews don't lie! Under full load (Metro 2033 at full clip using two Radeon 7850s in crossfire and i7-970 doing ffmpeg conversion in the background), the 12V never hovered above 12.025, 3.3V never above 3.31, and 5V never left 5.0! Was inaudbile during this test (as the CPU fan really was the loudest). Very impressed! Packaging and fit and finish is outstanding.
Cons: Cables not very flexible. That's reaching, I really got nothin'
Overall Review: Have always been a Corsair guy, but now adding Seasonic to that pedestal.
Excellent value!

Pros: Excellent PCIe slot placement for dual-slot video cards (where the video card doesn't bump or cover up the SATA ports). A lot of overclocking options for such a budget board. Crossfire support and a couple PCI slots for leftover components.
Cons: Choice is either AHCI or RAID in the BIOS. Would be nice if we could set AHCI for the SATA3 controller (for SSD) and RAID for the SATA2 controller (for spinning disks) but that is nitpicking.
Overall Review: I used to be an Asus and Gigabyte fanboy, but Biostar appears to last longer than those boards, without weird northbridge and southbridge issues, as well as picky memory demands, that constantly come up with Asus and GB.
Awesome value!

Pros: Excellent read speeds, in particular with Sata3 (using firmware 0009). Write speeds are a little slower than other brands, but for this price, no comparison!
Cons: If you're a benchmarking kind of guy, you may feel that other SSDs are faster.
Overall Review: If you're not a benchmarking kind of guy, and real world performance is more important, this is an awesome buy!
Just like the first Deus Ex!

Pros: I'm a little biased here as the first Deus Ex game is my favorite game of all time. The second Deus Ex (which was a console port) was the biggest disappointment of all time (universal ammo, goofy graphics, weak storyline). This one is like a reboot of the first. Great story, lots of ways you can win, lots of side-quests, you can be the good guy or the flawed good guy (you can take out the police station if you want). Good weapons, challenging gameplay, and even some of the music from the first one is remixed here and brings back memories!
Cons: The maps (like the first) can be tricky and easy to get lost. The hacking method is kinda weird, but I haven't read up on it as much as I should. Inventory is tough, limited space, and ammo takes up space, so you find yourself dropping and picking up guns a lot (actually could be a pro, as this is realistic). Can't use lockpicks, which I miss from the first game.
Overall Review: If you're a fan of the first Deus Ex, and were badly jaded by the second one, you GOTTA try this game! I wasn't expecting much bc of how bad the second one was, but was pleasantly surprised.
Excellent experience!
One of our lines of business has some legacy products that require older hardware. ValueNetPC had excellent pricing, immediate shipping (we got our products two days later, using standard shipping services) and their customer service was top notch when one of the items got banged up in shipping. We generally buy from Newegg only, not their marketplace, but ValueNet has earned our business.
