Works as designed...mostly
Pros: Well made board with good distance from the CPU to the memory slots. The vertical air cooler didn't impede on the memory slots. Graphics slot is nicely reinforced. Everything went together nicely with a couple of exceptions, see below. This is my second MSI build using MSI graphics cards and it fired up on the first try, no problems other than listed below.
Cons: There were two issues with the motherboard. One external USB connector wasn't manufactured properly. When I installed the USB cable, and then removed it, one of the metal contacts in the USB connector snagged my cable. It was tough to remove the cable and when I did, it pulled out one USB metal contacts. I was able to bend the pin back into place but you can tell it was bent (fortunately the socket still works). The cable worked in all other USB sockets without a problem so it must have been that one socket that was defective. Bummer. The other issue is the ethernet connection. No matter what ethernet cable I use, it never seats fully and the connector doesn't "click" into place. I don't want to force it or risk breaking it, so I'll live with it. These two issues tarnished an otherwise great build.
Overall Review: I've always had good luck with my MSI builds but this time there was a couple of minor issues. The computer is running great and I have no intention of gutting the build to send the motherboard back to Newegg. If there are no more issues with the motherboard I would consider another MSI build in the future.

Cons: Ran for 5 minutes, then stopped. Ran for another 15 minutes, than stopped.
Overall Review: Built a new computer and this power supply was free with the new motherboard. It worked for about 5 minutes then shut down. I checked the connections and restarted the computer and it ran for another 15 minutes before shutting down and it would not restart. I installed my old power supply and everything is running fine now. I RMA'd the power supply and Newegg made it easy. Hopefully, the replacement will work longer than 20 minutes.
Excellent card that plays everything on Very High or Ultra
Pros: Great card. Very quiet for a three fan card. It plays all my games/sims with settings on Very High and/or Ultra. No issues with any games I play.
Cons: The card sags, not much, but it definitely sags. I added a GPU support post to take out the sag and it's all good now.
Overall Review: Great card and probably best bang for the buck...for now.
One stick DOA
Pros: None...yet
Cons: One stick was DOA, other stick worked fine. Returned for replacement.
Overall Review: Sent for replacement with the same brand. Hopefully both of the new sticks will work
A great refurb, clean, and ready to go
Pros: The computer was immaculate, no dust, looked brand new Win 10 Pro activated easily, no problems New keyboard and mouse included Minimal but decent documentation
Cons: New keyboard and mouse cheap, low grade quality Minor scratch on top of case
Overall Review: I purchased this to replace a 7 year old Dell that had a "critical process died" error and I couldn't resuscitate it. The refurb is everything I'd hope a refurb would be. It was amazingly clean inside with no dust at all. I couldn't tell if it was cleaned or the computer was never used...it was that clean. The fan blades didn't even have a hint of dust. Maybe the computer was used in a lab or clean room. I installed a new CMOS battery and fired it up. The Win 10 activation worked fine and downloaded updates, no problems. Overall, the computer works great, no complaints. The product was accurately described and I would buy from Newegg that refurb company again.
Ordered New, Received ?
The product was advertised as being brand new and the price was too good to pass up. What I received was clearly a used or refurbed GPS. It was in a plain black and white Garmin box. The GPS had a plain screen protector, not the typical Garmin screen protector with simulated map image. The mount was not bagged, nor was the cable. Let me start by saying Throwback Deals customer service was first-rate. They responded quickly and we frequently exchanged emails with an hour. I requested an RMA since this wasn’t what I ordered. They insisted what I received was new, but shipped in an OEM box. And they said they’d give me a 5 year warranty. I declined and asked for the refund. It took a couple of days to sort it all out and they did finally refund the money and sent me the return shipping label. While their customer service was on-point, I would rather receive a brand new product and not deal with customer service. Would I purchase from them again? Unfortunately, no.
