Better than expected!
Pros: TRENDnet TU3-ETX is the ASIX AX88179 -- The TU3-ETX is Plug & Play via Windows 10 v1803 which installed its own driver (oem43.inf) and is ready to go OOTB. No driver update is necessary, but if you feel compelled, "Search the internet…" installs the most current driver. The TU3 is connected to a 7 port Orico USB3 hub connected to a 6 year old Toshiba i5-3317U laptop. All file transfers through the TU3-ETX to other GbE computers are over 100 MB/s with 103 to 106 MB/s being average (824 to 848 mbps). All in all the TU3-ETX is better than expected and well worth the money.
Cons: Connected charger and Fast Charged from 72% to 100% in less than an hour. Disconnected changer, turned on phone: it shows the standard splash screen, displayed a picture of the battery with 0% along with a picture indicating to connect the phone to the external power source and then cut off.
Overall Review: Original battery is BN910BBE, this replacement is BN910BBU.
This battery works!
The battery has an identical model number as the one in my Note 4. It also says "Near Field Communication", but NFC does not work with this battery installed. My Blue Parrott BT headset will not one button pair with my phone using this battery, but it does one button pair using the original battery. Other than that the battery works great!
