Most Favorable Review

Excellent product

TRENDnet TEW-639GR Wireless Gigabit Router 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps
TRENDnet TEW-639GR Wireless Gigabit Router 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps

Pros: Excellent range, no problem so far

Cons: Little too light - sometimes the router gets pulled off the table by weight of the cables.

Overall Review: This replaced my D-Link router which I had to reset couple of times a week. The router gets me through several weeks of heavy traffic (Internet and peer to peer) before requiring reset. I have excellent signal all around 2000 SQ/ft split level house.

Most Critical Review

Only one sata

APEVIA X-DREAMER3 X-DMR3-NW-BK/450 Black metal ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W Power Supply
APEVIA X-DREAMER3 X-DMR3-NW-BK/450 Black metal ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W Power Supply

Pros: Light, simple, temperature display

Cons: only 1 sata power, cheap front panel design

Overall Review: Purchased it for building a UNIX based data backup server for my sister's business. For the price, this isn't a bad case. But I expect least two (1 DVD, 1 HD) sata connectors. All LED cables are attached to front panel and when I pulled out the front panel to remove cover for the DVD player, the whole cable assembly came out with it - cheap design!!!

Does not work

Rosewill RKV-2DVI KVM Switch
Rosewill RKV-2DVI KVM Switch

Pros: Well packaged

Cons: Video did not work- multiple DVI cables, multiple computers with both Nvidia and ATI video cards tried

Overall Review: Video 1 sometimes come out garbled. Video 2 did not show up at all. Tried different cable, swap out the server (which has ATI video card). Swap the Video 1 and Video 2. Just could not get the Video 2 work. Server 1 (nvidia video card) sometimes comes out OK, and sometimes comes out with garbage displaying on the top and bottom of the screen when switched.

Good basic router

TRENDnet TEW-639GR Wireless Gigabit Router 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps
TRENDnet TEW-639GR Wireless Gigabit Router 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps

Pros: I bought this router to replace d-link wireless router. Took me 10 minutes to configure - works well with both wire and wireless network.

Cons: too light. If all 4 ports are plugged in with wire, the weight of the cable would drag the router down.

Work well for HTPC

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4550 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card 100252HDMI
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4550 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card 100252HDMI

Pros: Fast enough for Blu-ray, cheap, and fanless!. Running Vista 64-bit with 4GB of memory.

Cons: With Gigabyte MB, the ATI driver was causing GPF every 10 minutes and emitting garbage noise out of speaker. Had to flash to fix the problems.

Overall Review: For price, this is an excellent card.

Sucks down resource like black hole

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit for System Builders
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit for System Builders

Pros: Pretty user interface

Cons: Ran out 2GB memory while watching a Blu-ray movie, 100+ security patch downloaded since Oct. 2007, Even with 2GB memory the system is slow and not able to run much without running out memory. The system gives me security prompt for every time I run executable. Most of the TCP/IP server based software crapped out.

Overall Review: I thought purpose of OS is to manage resource? (Not dry memory on its own so nothing can run)
