The VESA mount is the only issue

ASUS 24" (23.8" Viewable) VZ249QG1R Full HD, IPS, 75Hz, 1ms, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Speakers, FreeSync, Eye Care, VESA Mountable, Ultra-slim, DisplayPort, HDMI, Tilt Monitor
ASUS 24" (23.8" Viewable) VZ249QG1R Full HD, IPS, 75Hz, 1ms, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Speakers, FreeSync, Eye Care, VESA Mountable, Ultra-slim, DisplayPort, HDMI, Tilt Monitor

Pros: This is a great screen with an excellent color quality and is very slim and light.

Cons: The VESA mount is not in the center of the screen, but is instead near the bottom. This made mounting it on my triple monitor stand and getting all three screens at the same level pretty much impossible within the limitations of my stand. The mount is near the bottom because that is where all the electronics are in this monitor, so this gives room for the mounting screws. Putting the mount in the middle of the screen would be much better and closer to the standard that VESA was created to ensure that problems like this wouldn't happen. It would have also been nice if this supported either 100 mm and 75 mm mounting, but with how light it is, it really only needs the 75mm. It also has a small, detached power supply brick that you will have to deal with. It's plugs are a little loose, so you will want to put it where it won't get bumped or the cables pulled. I just sinched up the DC cable with a cable tie and the stuck the brick between the monitor and the mounting plate with a piece of stick on velcro to keep it safe and secure.

Overall Review: It's a good monitor at a great price, just those two quirks of the design to know about that can cause some issues. I'd rather the power be internal so I don't have a power brick to deal with and that mounting point can be a problem. An adapter plate could fix the issue, if you wanted to make one.

Replacement that is an upgrade.

Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse, Customizable RGB, HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, 30K DPI Optical Sensor, PC
Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse, Customizable RGB, HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, 30K DPI Optical Sensor, PC

Pros: Has the right shape for my hand and grip. Optical switches. Higher quality stiffness in the plastic casting. Very good Scroll Wheel Electromechanical lock on the free wheel for scroll wheel so it will work for millions of cycles!

Cons: Not heavy enough for my taste, but l like a really heavy mouse. Could have a longer battery life. If you lift up the mouse off the surface, the require speed of the sensor is really long, so that can be an issue if you have a small desk space or lift your mouse when using it.

Overall Review: I bought this to replace a Logitech 502 Hero that I had worn out both the left and right buttons to where they had become unreliable. This took 4 years of mid use as a gamer and desktop user. I was able to compare it and this Razer directly to a relatively new 502 Hero and I could feel how much the plastic and buttons in my old one had listened up with wear. This also let me feel how much softer the plastic castings were in the 502 were compared to this mouse along with a better texture to the surface on the Razer. Sensors are equivalent. The scroll wheel is much better on the Razor than the 502, which was still a good one.
