Nice Laptop
Pros: This is a great buy. I didn't have a single problem starting this laptop up for the first time. I purchased this to use for college and it's perfect, it's fast and has plenty of storage space. The large screen is great too! The button to turn the touch pad on/off is a great feature too, I'm always hitting it when I'm typing where I left my wrist rest on the laptop. I use Skype a lot for computer-computer calls and the built-in image editor you can use while sharing you webcam on Skype was pretty neat and gave me and my friend a good laugh.
Cons: Typical HP bloatware was installed but I removed everything I didn't plan on using in a few minutes (Norton, HP Games, etc). You could solve this buy doing a clean install of Windows 7 (64-bit) if you didn't want any of the additional programs on your system.
Overall Review: This isn't a gaming laptop, not by a long shot so don't purchase this if you want to do any gaming, or at least gaming with decent FPS.
Worst buy in a while
Pros: Super easy to install, had it going in less than 3 minutes. Great signal strength and good if you're just using it to browse web pages.
Cons: My cheap-o wireless card that I bought until I could get something better pulls better ping, download and upload speeds than this. I did several internet connection test and each time my wireless card which only supports lower connection speeds pulled ahead by .5-.8 MBps faster every time despite this USB adapter having greater signal strength. I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this.
Overall Review: If you're looking for a wireless adapter for gaming then I suggest buying a wireless card because this is horrible for gaming. My ping stays between 300-400 with this and my cheap wireless card stays around 50
