Nice card

MSI Radeon HD 7790 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R7790-1GD5/OC
MSI Radeon HD 7790 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R7790-1GD5/OC

Pros: Fast card for the money. I picked it up for $130 with FIVE games (see below). It was cheaper than some 7770s and 650 TIs. It fit nice in my son's slim mid tower ATX case. It has a low power requirement. I'm only using a 350w PSU. I put this card in his older computer with the following componets: Athlon II X2 240 (2.8Ghz) MSI 760GM-E51 (AM3) Micro ATX 6GB DDR3 1333 MSI 7790 OC Seagate 320GB HDD LiteON DVDRW Coolermaster Elite 360 mid tower ATX Case Coolermaster 350w PSU Logitech G15 Keyboard Logitech laser mouse Viewsonic 19" 1440x900 Spent ~$600 total. Some of the componets were bought back in 2010. The 7790 completed a good little machine for Steam. It plays Skyrim, BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon @ 1440x900 with MED to HIGH video settings perfectly. A faster CPU would speed it up a bit more. 3D Mark 11 ~P4000

Cons: No as fast as my GTX 660 in my main rig. It didn't come with the newest 3D Mark like the MSI 7770. 128bit memory interface slows it down with Antialiasing turned up. Don't do the 4-7 day shipping. USPS handles it. Go with the 3 day for UPS or FEDEX.

Overall Review: It came with FIVE (5) games rather than three (3). For some reason, Newegg sent two AMD redeem cards for two of the games. BioShock Infinite: two (2) copies (Steam Code) Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon: two (2) copies (Uplay Code) Tomb Raider: one (1) copy (Steam Code) I haven't overclocked it yet, but may when I upgrade his CPU and motherboard.

XMP not working

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model CMK32GX4M2E3200C16
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model CMK32GX4M2E3200C16

Pros: Great price, I bought two sets (64GB total) I'm using with my Gigabyte B550M DS3H mATX AM4, Ryzen 5 5600G, Thermaltake 7000w, and AMD RX 6500 XT. All neatly packed into my cocktail arcade cabinet running Windows 10 Pro, BigBox (MAME & RetroArch), Microsoft XBox GamePass and Epic games.

Cons: The motherboard only POSTs with default RAM speed and timings (2166Mhz). I updated the BIOS and still no luck running XMP. Setting to XMP for 3200Mhz @ 1.35v crashes everything, won't POST and forces me to reset ALL MoBo BIOS settings. This could be the MoBo, but when tested on an MSI B450 I have similar results. The MSI board boots fine with another DDR4 set at 3200Mhz.

Overall Review: Check your motherboard manufacture's RAM compatibility list. Ensure that this RAM will run at full speed before purchasing. Corsair is ALMOST always the best RAM with the most compatibility but XMP just isn't working for me.

Great card for the money!

PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6500XT ITX Gaming Graphics Card 4GB GDDR6
PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6500XT ITX Gaming Graphics Card 4GB GDDR6

Pros: - Just as fast as the RX 5500 XT 4GB and RX 570 - Faster than the GTX 1650 and MUCH cheaper - Bought for MSRP - Runs very cool, fan only kicks on when running more demanding games

Cons: - Only two outputs - Only 4GB @ 64bits (still 144Gb/s) - Really only good for 1080p gaming (I use in my cocktail arcade cabinet with 1080p native) - Raytracing is supported but unusable

Overall Review: This is my arcade cabinet system and it's only used for emulation and 1080p gaming for the kids: Ryzen 5 5600G Gigabyte B550M DS3H 64GB (4x16GB) Corsair DDR4 3200 Powercolor RX 6500 XT This little card stays cool and runs everything we throw at it. I'll do some more tests at 4k when I run the HDMI out of the cabinet, but I can expect newer titles will

Best Gamepad for PC! Install the Microsoft XBox 360 gamepad driver and it'll work great.

Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad, 2.4 GHz Wireless with USB Nano-Receiver, Controller Dual Vibration Feedback, 4 Switch D-Pad, PC - Grey/Black
Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad, 2.4 GHz Wireless with USB Nano-Receiver, Controller Dual Vibration Feedback, 4 Switch D-Pad, PC - Grey/Black

Pros: I have two of these gamepads and my family loves them. We play everything on Steam. They work great with "Big Picture" and I didn't even need to program the config for each game. Install the Microsoft XBox 360 gamepad driver and it'll work great. These gamepads do both X-input and direct input! The wireless XBox 360 gamepad for PC only does X-input.

Cons: ~ $10 more for each than I paid for my two Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2s 18 months ago. No "player 1/2/3/4" assignment light on the gamepad. But the Microsoft XBox 360 gamepad program will pop-up with the correct player assignment whenever the center "Logitech" button is pressed. The pop-up does not display within games, so you'll have to select the player assignment before the game is started. This isn't a big deal. I wish I had four F710s for 4-way Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed.

Overall Review: I had the older Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 and they are direct input only. Newer games all use X-input (XBox360). I used X360ce to emulate with my Rumblepads but it was always glitchy. The F710 works every time after the XBox 360 gamepad driver was installed.

Awesome GFX Card!

Galaxy 66NPH7DN6ZVZ GeForce GTX 660 GC 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Very fast card. It's overclocked out of the box. It's faster than the 7850 and even the 7870 in some benchmarks. IMHO, the GTX 660 Ti is over priced. The standard GTX 660 is %90 as fast and much cheaper. The kids love playing all the new games maxed out!

Cons: The GTX 650 Ti Boost is almost as fast & ~ $30 cheaper. The HDMI wouldn't display or detect at my native 1366x768. I switched to DVI and it all worked great. It could be something other than the GTX 660. My last GFX cards had the same issue.

Overall Review: This was the 1st upgrade to my aging Steambox/Media Center PC. Phenom X4 9850 (2.5Ghz) 4x Corsair 1024MB 6400 DFI 790FX DK Corsair 750TX PSU Hauppauge 1600 TV Tuner 3x HD 3870's in CFX (old) Galaxy GTX 660 GC (new) 5 TB of storage 2x Logitech F710 I'm planning to get the MSI 970 G46 SLI/CFX mobo, AMD FX 8150 and 16GB Corsair RAM. Maybe another GTX 660 for SLI if I upgrade my TV.
