LG Ultragear 27GL850-B 27" 2K QHD 2560 x 1440 1ms GTG 144Hz 2 x HDMI DisplayPort USB 3.0 Hub AMD FreeSync NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible HDR 10 Nano IPS Gaming Monitor

Pros: What can I say other than this monitor is great. The picture is vivid with colors that distinctively pop out due to the IPS panel. The 144Hz and 2k screen makes everything seem more detailed and smooth. The monitors factory calibration was phenomenal and I did not have to fiddle with the RGB, or brightness and contrast, levels whatsoever; unlike past monitors I've owned where it took days of fiddling with these values to get a decent picture. Moreover, after owning it for two weeks I don't see any issues with it whatsoever. There isn't any dead pixels, bothersome backlight bleed, or any other jarring issues. This was my main worry as I've had to return multiple monitors I bought from OTHER POPULAR AND WIDELY USED ONLINE VENDORS, ASUS and Samsung monitors specifically, after various problems turned up only after owning them for a couple of weeks.

Cons: There is noticeable IPS glow. If you've never owned an IPS monitor before you may find it extremely annoying, especially on solid black or in a dark room, however the glow isn't that bad. I've owned other IPS panels before with significantly worse, and more distracting, IPS glow then this monitor. It's only really noticeable on black scenes in a dark room and even then it is not terribly distracting. You can mitigate the glow by making sure you're in a well-lit room, or having nice ambient lighting around your desk. Another issue is that the monitor is a bit pricey, especially when compared to the ASUS VG27AQ, and it's constantly in short-supply (from my experience anyway). That being said after owning the VG27AQ for a short-while, I can say with some certainty that the LG is the superior product; primarily because of the reduced IPS glow, perfect calibration, and lack of manufacturing flaws.

Overall Review: In short, I definitely recommend this product if you're in the market for a solid IPS paneled monitor.
