Good buy

Pros: For the price, it's awesome. Reads pretty fast.

Cons: Kind of noisy, but only when a disc is being read. Not distracting, but louder than some drives.

Overall Review: Good buy!

Good motherboard, not so much XMP

MSI PRO B450-A PRO MAX AM4 AMD B450 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Easy to install. Straightforward easy to use BIOS.

Cons: I paired this with DDR4 3600 and started getting really weird error messages related to memory. I thought my RAM sticks were bad, so to test I clocked them down to DDR4-2666 and it worked great. I've since seen reviews where the B4xx chipset doesn't like XMP running anything too fast. I really didn't see any performance issues at 2666 so I ended up not really caring.

Overall Review: Decent purchase for the price. Would recommend.

Couldn't be happier

Pros: -Great upgrade from my i5-4440 -VERY easy to install chip and heat sink -Priced great

Cons: -Doesn't make tacos

Overall Review: At the point where it was time to upgrade the gaming machine. Paired this with a 6700XT and couldn't be happier. Spins like a top. Not much else to say really. Zero regrets.

Pros: Fast little card, performs well especially considering it's price point. I am running 1440x900 and have had no problems with modern games so far. No extra power connection needed!
