Unsolvable issues
Pros: Nice size. Nice Price
Cons: Refurbished monitor. Would not work at all in one computer. On another I could not get it to recognize above 1024x768 resolution with the driver installed and a dual-link dvi-d cable. Using nVidia custom resolution it would test a couple higher resolutions but could never be set to them, and 1920x1080 only showed a faint small line.
Overall Review: I'm not disappointed. I knew I was getting a refurb. However I plan on sending it back and getting a new monitor.
High Hopes
Pros: I loved the setup of the board, and was glad I picked such a good board considering the lack of 1156 boards these days. Board was obviously designed for power use, with two 8-pin cpu supply connections and an extra connection on-board for PCIe power consumption. The primary PCIe port also had better clearance from RAM slots than my last 1156 board had, as well as plenty of USB/SATA connections.
Cons: Delivered board was damaged, and I was unable to boot with it. RMA in progress but I wasn't going to give one egg to something because of it. Also, the lack of cables and the manual was a slight pain, but having downloaded the manual online I can state that I was not very impressed with it.
Overall Review: Looking forward to receiving a replacement. I've also upgraded my power supply to make better use of the board.
