Comments: Very stable board. NewEgg comes through again, they had this for under $50 refurbished at 1 time. I also purchased an AMD XP 2500+ 333Mhz Barton with 512K cache and then some Corsair 400Mhz "Value" DDR 2.5 CAS. All shipped to my door in record time for a mere $250. What an upgrade for the money! I could freely change the CPU multiplier in the BIOS with no modifications to board or CPU. Board layout is excellent, onboard sound is nothing special but mine sounds OK. Boot times are very quick with this board. No mounting holes for a big waterblock or heatsink might deter the serious overclockers, but Koolance product users will have no trouble using their waterblocks since no holes are needed. Motherboard chipset cooling is done very well, lack of a locking AGP slot is a mystery but won't bother anyone who doesn't move their PC often. Nvidia Nforce 2 driver install is painless. I give a big thumbs up to AMD, Soltek, and NewEgg.

Comments: The processor was able to run as a 3200+ with the stock heatsink and thermal pad!!! Get the retail package it's worth the extra $5, the AMD heatsink has a nice copper plate on the bottom with a nice smooth finish. Processor runs at 53*C under full load and BIOS reports a 3200+. CPU multiplier was already unlocked for easy transforation to a 3200+. What a steal, basically a 3200+ at a 2500+ price!!! NewEgg comes through with fast order procesing and shipping as usual. Keep up the good work NewEgg and AMD!
