When you need length...

BYTECC HM-75 75 ft. Black HDMI male to male HDMI High Speed Male to Male Cable Male to Male
BYTECC HM-75 75 ft. Black HDMI male to male HDMI High Speed Male to Male Cable Male to Male

Pros: I wanted to watch Netflix on the flat screen TV and we have no gaming consoles, wi-fi TV available so this was our only option at the time. Needed a long HDMI cable and limited on options. Picture quality is fantastic. Four stars might be generous but what else can you compare it to and I've had two years of trouble free use.

Cons: Thick cable with large ends. I had to drill very large holes in the hard wood floor. Couldn't they make the ends a little more square or round? READ THIS! Installed cable and nothing. Then I read reviews; this thing is DIRECTIONAL? Back in the crawl spaces and two hours later, finally, video... Would it kill someone to include a bright colored tag or arrows or anything?

Overall Review: This review is probably useless since there are many other options now. Still using it but can't wait to get Wi-Fi TV or something because not having a remote when the phone rings and running to the other end of the house to rewind a movie is a pain.

A little shocked after reading reviews

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Purchased this power supply to upgrade a Dell XPS-410 to power a new video card. Not for gaming but for home entertainment. Purchased in May 2009. April 2011 the computer just quit while doing taxes for several friends and family. No time to waste, so off to Best Buy that night and purchase new HP Pavillion HPE. Had the day off today so pulled the Dell out to diagnose. I was shocked that the new Corsair PSU that I bought was faulty. Sad because it was quiet and fairly easy to install. Probably more power than I needed and stuffing 80% of the unused cables was a pain. Maybe that impeeded airflow? Not much to say, a power supply works or it doesn't. Very dissapointing since the HP came with a 300W and I was hoping to use it.

Cons: None, until it quit after less than two years. I was expecting better reliability.

The jury is still out...

NETGEAR WNDR4000 N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Open Source Router - IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n
NETGEAR WNDR4000 N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Open Source Router - IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n

Pros: The software allows controll or kids laptops and iPhones. MAC list is easy to add devices. Netgear support has been great so far. Stand and wall mountable. I bought at Staples for $139.99.

Cons: The fact that I needed customer support to set up simple home network. Problem: All wireless devices dropping signal. Help tech re-flashed bios. reduced MTU size to 1450, security to both WPA + WPA2, switched from auto to Ch9, turned off 5Ghz (since non of the devices use it anyway). I just hung up the phone with tech so not sure if we fixed problem permanently or not, I will update if this thing ends up going back. For this price I was hoping for increased speed via LAN or WAN but I noticed none. Just read the reviews and you will see many have frustrating problems, even for us computer savy customers.

Overall Review: Emergency impulse buy and this is what you get but honestly every router seems to have it's share of bad reviews, or none at all. Just realized I can't use the USB for shared printer. Bummer. 5GHz shut off. Why didn't I just buy a $30 - $50 router? Two eggs might be a little harsh but I just spent a lot of time trying to resolve problems that I am not 100% convinced are resolved yet. My old WRT54G started dropping service every 2 minutes after over 5 years of use and set up was no-brainer. True, i can share printers in other ways but at this price, this device should make life easier, not more stressfull. Good luck, I feel your pain.

Transcend 8GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card Model TS8GCF133
Transcend 8GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card Model TS8GCF133

Pros: It always bugged me that the PCI (or whatever you call it) on the side of my laptop never got used. (Laptops don't have them anymore) I bought an adapter and this was the largest size card I could find. My hope was that it would be like a thumb drive that didn't protrude out and would always be in the laptop, and hopefully support the boost function on VISTA that the thumb drives do.

Cons: Well, no go n the boost fuction. Which is no fault of the memory card. Also a flash drive it is not. Much slower, which may have a lot to do with the application and/or adapter. I stored music and stuff on it that I haven't seen in a long time and it will probably remain in the laptop for ever. I also tried to place the adapter with card and music in a slot located in the trunk of my car that had a PCI slot. According to forums this works on some models and not others. It did not work on the 08' or 09' Accord.

Great idea in my head but...

StarTech.com SATA18RA1 1.5 ft. SATA to Right Angle SATA Serial ATA Cable
StarTech.com SATA18RA1 1.5 ft. SATA to Right Angle SATA Serial ATA Cable

Pros: It's red, it works, and it was just long enough. But...

Cons: The Dell case has these HD caddy's at the bottom and I thought a right angle cable was my solution, but, when everythng was hooked up the connector stuck out just enough so the cover wouldn't fit back on. It never occured to me that there would be differences in a simple 90deg. cable. It also didn't plug "in" as far as the factory cable into the HD so it protruded out a little more, hence the clearence issue. It's the little things that just...ARRRGH! Three eggs because it was useless for me but would probably work for 99% of uses.
